    I hated my experience at NorCal imaging they have shady billing practices and they lie to patients about expected dates for radiology reading reports. They told me over the phone that they dont give people real reports and that people shouldnt waste their time. Honestly I would suggest avoiding this location or maybe the whole company? I hated this place.

    Date of service - 10/7/2022 Amount Paid - $550 ********* services I paid $550 up front. Business did not run the insurance at that time. I submitted a claim with United Healthcare myself, it was processed, and the explanation of benefits shows I only owe $83.20. I was sent a refund check by the business for $116.80 only on 1/18/2023. I am still owed $350. I called united multiple times and they confirmed I only owe $83.20. Its been over a year I have been calling NorCal about my refund and they kept saying its being escalated to the refund department and no one is giving me any update about my refund. There is no other number I can call besides ************ and agents cannot transfer calls to supervisor or the refund department. I have been very patient knowing I will get the refund because my insurance confirmed it. Its been over a year and I still dont get any response or refund from Norcal Imaging. They also dont explain the process and keep telling me to check back in 30 days. And when I call every 30 days, they keep telling me they will escalate and check back. They are not giving me the definite answer just me calling back to check on the status of my refund. Last time I called was on 11/6/23 and I requested the agent on the phone to have the supervisor or someone in charge to give me a call. They said they have made a note of this and supervisor will call within 3 business days. It is been over 3 days and noone has reached out to me yet. Agents just make the note of it whenever I call and not sure if anyone is following up on the notes. I am not sure what other options I have to get my $350 refund back.
