On 9/25/23, I talked to one of their technician *************************** regarding replacing my existing HVAC system. He was at my house at the time of the conversation after his full examination of the house. He gave me a quote for $14000 to do the job and gave me ******************* for free. He said it was valued at around $3000. He said he will get $4500 rebate (HVAC conversion: $3500 + Tech CA $1000). My house is less than **** qf. He said the total price for the job will be $14,000 for HVAC and ***************** including $4500 rebate. I agreed with this number. I was asked to sign a contract online. I did sign the contract the next day when I see the total price matched what ****** said a day before, so I signed the paper without reading it through (my fault). I was not aware of the fact that they took $3000 rebate for ***************** on the contract as well. I was aware of it only when the 3rd party asked me to sign the paper to give them the permission to process the rebate on 10/4/23. I tried to talk to ****** about the issue. He told me that it costed more than $3000 for the ***************** that he had quoted for. That's not the reason for putting something on the contract without telling **** have talked to their management team ******. He said the ***************** cost more than $8000 (remember it is a small house less than **** SQFT. Then senior management was aware of the issue and one of the owners **** sent me an email and quoting the job is valued at over $30,000.00. Everything one keep saying that I got a great deal. They were trying to justify the way they just took only $3000 rebate and I should be more than happy to take it. Maybe I should be happy but that's not the good way to do business at all. I would be ok if I was told in the beginning. I really don't appreciate people doing anything behind my back.I don't think I will get this issue resolved but I only want other people to know that what kind of people or company they are.WARNING !!!!!!!!!! ****** has been learned. I hope it does not cost other people to know this!!!Thank you!
