    June 12 2023 03 ford Explorer was dropped off for a repair on a transmission that came back up after a previous “repair” at the same location. Vehicle was under warranty so I decided to take it. Owner kept pushing his availability weeks ahead. When I finally was able to drop off suv sat outside for about a month before anything was supposedly done to it. Windows were left half way down outside. Cats roam the property day and night. When I called if vehicle was available for pick up he said yes but was not there upon arrival. Upon inspection before taking vehicle, I noticed cat vomit , urine , hair & deep scratches all over the inside and outside of suv. A few voicemails were left with not response at all. Vehicle was not properly fixed and has the same issues that occurred when it was first drop off for repair.

    Per Owner: The transmission works fine, has no transmission codes, goes into gear rough when it is cold iddle speed to high when engine cold. We are not responsible for alley cats but if he would have told me about the issue I would have paid for the detail. Transmission ran out of warranty on 7/7/2023.

     I am rejecting this response because: a call was made to performance transmission with no response. A clear voicemail was left after the call stating that I need a call back to resolve the issue. I clearly stated all the details wrong with it and I got no answer back. A full interior detail and paint correction for the scratches would have resolved the issue if I he would have simply called back and responded to my initial request to settle the problem. As far at the transmission issues , very rough gear changing regardless of cold or up to temperature. I would no longer trust this mechanic to work on my transmission and am currently looking to get a refund back for the work done regardless if warranty ran out. Vehicle repair was postponed many times by mechanic in my opinion to allow warranty to run out. Vehicle was taken in 3 times and none of the 3 times was the issue fixed after letting him know clearly what was wrong. Next step from my side would be a small claims case if I can not get my vehicle repair payment returned.
