            Barnes Dental Surgery center lied to us about their fee polices. When we scheduled an appointment over the phone, before payment, they informed us that the $850 we were paying would be completely refundable if we changed our minds at least 3 days before the appointment. We called to cancel weeks before the appointment, and they refused the refund citing old paperwork we signed stating that it was non-refundable. They lied to us on the phone saying it was totally refundable, so we would go ahead and make the appointment, knowing all along they would not give the money back. They are very argumentative, and are not apologetic about utterly lying about their refund polices on the phone. They even tried to blackmail us, saying maybe they'd give a little bit back if we let them still do the dental work. The dishonestly and lack of integrity displayed seems routine by their attitudes about it.

            MOST OF THE STAFF ARE RUDE AND UNWELCOMING. THE WORST PART OF THE VISIT WAS THEY ARE NOT HONEST. I WAS TOLD BY THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF MY SON SEALENT WERE GOING TO BE AT NO COST, BECAUSE THIS WAS GOING TO BE THE LAST YEAR THE INSURANCE WILL COVER THE SEALENTS SINCE HE WILL BE TURNING 14. THEN I GET A BILL WITH THE CHARGES OF THE SERVICES. WHEN I CALLED THE OFFICE TO LET THEM KNOW MY CONCERN THE MANGER SHOWED NO EMPATHY AND NOT EVEN AN APPOLIGY FOR THE WRONG INFORMATION I WAS GIVEN, HER REPLY WAS "HOW DO YOU WANT TO PAY THE BALANCE"? LIKE REALLY! I WAS LIED ABOUT THE SERVICES BY THE STAFF AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY? IF I WOULD OF KNOW THE RIGHT INFORMATION I WOULD HAVE NOT APPROVED OF THE TREATMENT FOR MY SON UNTIL I TALKED IT OVER WITH MY EXHUSBAND. WE BOTH HAVE TO PAY HALF OF THE TREATMENT NECESSARY. TO TOP IT OFF THE MANGER HARRASSED MY THROUGH PHONE CALLS AND LETTERS STATING IN HER HANDWRITING I WILL BE SEND TO COLLECTION IF I DID NOT PAY THE BALANCE. THIS WAS WRONG HOW THE MANGER HANDLED THE SITUATION.
