      To whom it may concern, My late husband and I purchased and had installed (4) Lennox 2 ton air conditioning units from Grant's Air Conditioning and Heating in Visalia, CA in 2013(see attached invoice from Grants). Since 2017 3 of the 4 units developed a leak in the internal coils. Since 2017 we had Comfort Now replace 1 of the coils and have been adding R-410A to the other 2 units just to get through the summers. On 6/28/2018 Grant's actually came out and did diagnostic check on 2 units and determined that the 2 units had a leak in coils and added R-410A. Then they had the nerve to send us a bill for $450. My son, ******* *****, has gone down to Grant's office and was told that the coils were not covered on warranty. We had also sent a letter to Grant's with reply or intentions to resolve this issue. They simply ignored us. We have talked with several air conditioning and heating companies and they have all said that we shouldn't have had problems with one unit after purchasing 7 years ago, let alone problems with 3 out of the 4 units. At this time I am asking for Grant's to replace the coils in the 2 units currently leaking and to reimburse us for the replacement of 1 coil and all service calls since purchasing. The total for replacing coil and all service calls comes to $2,651.25 (see attached reciepts 1R through 5R) I also must add that I did some research and found out that Lennox has a class action lawsuit against them for units sold between 2007 to 2015 for coils that leak. With that said, Grants knew these units were defective when they sold them too us in 201 3. And when my son went to their office he was told that the coils were not on any warranty although the invoice clearly states : 10 year parts & compressor and nothing about not covering the coils. I'm not asking a lot considering what I and my tenants have been through. I am 79 years old and will be allowing my son, ******* *****, to handle this matter. His cell # is ###-###-#### . Thank you.
