    I am complaining about Southwest gas company. I was out of country for 3 weeks and obv my usage of gas would have been low because there was no one at home. Thermostat was set at 66 and usually it is at 71-72.However my bill came out even higher than the previous month. This makes me question every monthly bill they send, about how accurate it is. This is straight Fraud. When I called them, they just gave me excuses. I was out of country from 02/28 to 03/18

    About six months ago I went to pay my bill over the phone like I always have and it overcharged me $200. I called swg to tell them what happened thinking they would just credit me back. Nope. They needed to apparently "make a case" about it. They wrongly took two hundred then did not credit it back the same day. They are crooks! After a month went by I received the difference in a check minus next month's bill. I thought the ordeal was over, but I was wrong. The next month my bill was again about $200 more than usual, not to mention the weather had been in the nineties and I live alone. When I called they said my bank returned the payment and then said I CASHED the check. I said yes I did it was MY MONEY. This has gone on for six months now which in the meantime swg has asked me for bank statements which I gave to them. My bank said they couldn't return anything without my authorization and since I'm me I can assure I never authorized anything. Now swg is saying bank statements are not good enough and they want something from the bank. I have already gone to my bank several times and called, but swg refuses to see it is their error and not mine. I absolutely hate swg and feel I've been discriminated against because I have care they must think I would go through all this for $200??? Um no I pay all my bills. If swg needs to know then I have care because I'm a widow and income eligible. I thought a big company like southwest gas wouldn't discriminate, but that's exactly what they are doing because there is just no other reason for this. I'm angry these big companies can get away with this! The state needs to protect us from these huge utility company's bullying it's MANDATORY customers. I want something done about this, but unfortunately who will help me and any other customer TARGETED by ****************** company? I want to be able to choose a different company. I thought monopolies were outlawed a long time ago?
