    There are never enough workers to check in donors. Long lines with only one or two workers to check in donors most of the time. It gets old really quick, especially when you finally make it and get turned away because your temperature is high, etc. A real ******. You just wasted 1-2 hours of your life waiting in line. And they dont care. You are just another donor. It does not help that parking is not reliable there either. Most of the workers have zero people skills in customer service. They dont want to be there and it shows. After being there for over four hours ( for waiting to be checked in and after waiting and finishing my donation) I complained to the supposed manager in charge of scheduling. And guess what? I get deferred. They lowered my pay to only $60. At that time, I was donating well over a month now and my pay would be $65, 70, 75, back to 60, then trickle up. Its over a month now and my pay is still $60. They are playing with my money and its no surprise they are not registered with the bbb. Go somewhere else if you can.

    This place has turned into a first class joke. From the time you try to check in until the time you leave. The staff runs around like a bunch of first graders with no direction on how to wipe there own ****. A high school undergrad could run a more productive and more profitable company. They let very hygienically unclean people donate and people that are on drugs and have been drinking right before they enter the plasma center. When you say something to them the tampered with the plasma machine to the point it was over pressurized it would not return the blood properly it took the plasma and didn't replace with any fluids. My ex-wife is a phlebotomist and she said that clearly there was something tampered with they are NEVER TO STICK A NEEDLE IN THE SAME HOLE TWICE

    They might pay what they advertise. They might not. They didn't for me. If you can't pay what you say you're going to, you're not useful to me. Other better options.

    My name is **************************, 35 yr old Latino in the *********** area, Octapharma plasma employees are liars, last time I tried donating on 7/25/2023 at the octapharma in van nuys 2 employees were saying that I was recording which I was not, about 2 yrs ago I was deferred for that reason but I was able to come back and donated about 5 times and now they are definitely lying this time because I was not recording. Today is 7/28/2023 around 9:48am
