1 starThis company is a scam. My sister paid off her wrecked car so that she could buy her new one since she didnt have gap insurance. NCS claimed she didnt. She showed me the $10,000 and something receipt. She will not be paying it again. NCS is trying to scam her and my mother for $9400 and something receipt dollars. Its not going to happen. If they had talked to the company first instead of telling me how it was going to be, this would be resolved. Well this company is a scam.National Commercial Services

The complainant is incorrect as to the basis of this claim. This is an insurance claim from an incident that occurred on 2/21/24. The complainant's sister was traveling east on ******************* and rear-ended another party. The police came to the scene and the police report clearly states the complainant's sister is at fault for the incident for following too closely, without room to stop. The other party turned the damages into their insurance company, and that company contacted the sister's insurance carrier. However, she did not have insurance coverage on the date of loss. Therefore the at fault sister is liable to pay for the damages to the other party out of pocket. This claim has nothing to do with the sister's vehicle cost. This claim has everything to do with the damage she caused by rear-ending the other party, which was not covered by insurance because she did not have coverage at the time. This is a valid claim and not a scam.Review fromaubry E

NCS asks the complainant to please understand that this is a business of speaking on the telephone. At no point of time are the complainant's phone calls being ignored on purpose. Her representative is likely on another phone call - or possibly a break or lunch - and will get back to her as soon as the opportunity avails itself. Please note that the representative did call the complainant back, but the complainant also did not answer the phone. The complainant left a voicemail at 8:05 am, and the representative called back at 9:23 am. The complainant then called at 9:34 am, and the representative called back at 10:26 am. The complainant then emailed the representative, at which time they were able to connect. The complainant did request that a payment be run early on 9/5. NCS should not have run another payment; we apologize that the system did not update after the first payment. This situation has been investigated and subsequent training has occurred to keep this from happening again. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.Review fromJuan M

NCS cannot find the complainant's name in our system that matches the email address or zip code he provided. In addition, NCS would not ever threaten police or arrest. NCS does not know what type of account the complainant is referring to. There is the possibility that the complainant has reached out to the wrong NCS. If he feels this is the correct NCS, we would need additional information to locate him and his account to resolve the issue.Review fromJay T

At 3:30 on July 10, the complainant did not speak with ***************************. She spoke with her representative. She asked to speak with the supervisor, who is ***************************. ******************** called her at 3:52, and the complainant said she needed to call him back and disconnected the call.On 6/5/23, the complainant, who is a tenant in another party's property, caused the grease fire while cooking. The fire caused damage to the other party's property, which needed to be fixed. The other party's insurance carrier covered the cost of the damages, $24,777.12, and the complainant owes this balance to be paid back to the insurance carrier, as the fire was her fault. If she had renter's insurance, her insurance carrier would cover the cost of the damages. As she had no insurance, it is her responsibility to pay for the damages that she caused. The insurance carrier assigned this claim to NCS to collect on those damages they paid out.NCS is sorry that the complainant was hurt in the fire, and the representative reiterated these apologies for that outcome, but that is not part of the conversation. When the representative spoke with the complainant, she started the conversation stating that she is in Section 8 housing, that she has no insurance and no money. She volunteered the information on her financial status. The complainant told the representative that her children caused the fire and he told her that she is still responsible for the damages, as they are minors. She is the party that brought up her children, not the representative. He asked if she would like to set up a payment plan, and she said no. He told her it would be best if she voluntarily paid this claim, as he would like to work with her. Otherwise, the file could be moved to the ***************** At this time the complainant was yelling and speaking over him and he said he would call her back when she was calmer and they could discuss the situation. As mentioned before, the supervisor tried to reach out to the complainant, but she said she would call back later.NCS did not bring up triggering subjects nor expound on them. NCS's goal is to collect the funds that were paid out by our client due to damages caused by the complainant's action. NCS's representative has over 20 years of experience and acts with professionalism.Review fromShajuanda R

1 starI have contacted and worked everything out with this company but due to a new card they will not be able to collect from them this month. So I have called numerous of times to MAKE a payment. They are so unprofessional and since the guy over the case was unavailable I asked if they had a site where I can make a payment online. The person told me no and then I dont know. This place from my experience is on a mission of entrapment to cause a financial hardship even to those that are in compliance. I will surely hope that nationwide sees this and look into finding theirselves a new business contract to collect on their behalf. They dont know how to talk to people or return emails nor phone calls in a timely manner.National Commercial Services

The complainant has been making on-time payments to NCS since January 2023, always on the 3rd of the month. The month in question, ***, the complainant made her payment on May 2nd. Her payment has been made and it was made early.NCS does have an online payment portal, and the complainant signed up for it on 12/30/22. The website is ************************************************************ and she can reset her password online if she needs to.Regarding calls to the representative, notes show that the complainant left a voicemail at 12:26 Pacific Time on 5/2. She called again at 12:52 PT. The representative was on another call and had to leave for lunch (per law) and called her as soon as he got back from lunch at 1:49 PT and took the complainant's payment. This issue appears to be resolved.Review fromDavey M.

NCS believes the complainant is mixing this incident up with another incident. Please note why:1. This incident occurred over 8 years ago.2. NCS has only one phone number for the complainant, and does not have any numbers or names for his parents.3. The police report narrative for this incident is very clear that the complainant was the only one involved and at fault.4. The police report mentions the complainant's injuries to be non-critical.5. The complainant's license was suspended by the ** DMV on 11/13/15.NCS has a copy of the police report from the incident on 11/9/14. Please review the narrative from the police officer:"On 11/09/2014 at 23:05 hours, Officer ************************** (*****) responded to a crash in front of *****************, where vehicle #1 traveling driver E/B on ****************** of ********** St., struck with its front end, the rear passenger side of vehicle #2, which was legally parked on the street. The front end of vehicle #2 was pushed into the rear end of vehicle #3 as a result of being struck by vehicle #1. Vehicle #3 was legally parked on the street, in front of vehicle #2.Driver ******************* advised he was traveling E/B on Madison ***** occupying vehicle #1, when he reached down to pick up a cigarette. Driver ******************* advised he didn't notice that his vehicle began veering to right, and could not stop before striking the rear of vehicle #2.Officers observed driver ******************* to be bleeding from a head wound sustained during the accident. Driver ******************* advised he was not wearing his seatbelt during the accident. R/O also noticed a crack in the windshield of vehicle #1, consistent with driver ******************* hitting his head against the windshield. Driver ******************* was transported to the VA by MFD Unit #1, in non-critical condition. At the hospital, Driver ******************* was issued citation #M975570 for the accident, by Officer ********* On the citation, additionally, was the city traffic violation of seat belt law 21-23-2.Witness *********************** advised he observed vehicle #1 traveling E/B on Madison ***** swerving, and then crashing into vehicle #2, which crashed into vehicle #3 as a result. Witness *********************** pointed out driver ******************* as who he observed driving vehicle #1.The owners of vehicles #2 and #3 were inside their apartments at the time of the accident, and came outside after the accident had occurred. Officers were able to retrieve information from all of the vehicles and owners involved."Please note that the police report also has a citation ***** for "Financial Responsibility" of not having insurance. It is because the complainant did not have insurance that he was responsible for paying for the damages that he did to the other vehicles out of pocket. NCS's client assigned the claim to pursue the complainant as an uninsured driver. In addition, ** DMV suspended the complainant's license for not having **************************** is not actively pursuing the complainant and have not contacted him by phone in many years. NCS sent the complainant a letter because our records indicated that his license was suspended and wanted to help resolve the issue so he could obtain his license *********************** has closed this claim, as it appears the complainant has his license back or is not concerned about it.
