Hi ****, After last times shoeing on 10-13-22 my horse came up Lame as you know, I had text you to let you know this, you had then proceeded to give me some of your theorys as to why this may of happened, A he foundered B he had laminitis C trauma D abscess E negative ****** angle I mentioned to you that none of these theorys have ever happened with my horse as Ive owned him since he was 3 and he is 8 now, prior to last shoeing I reached out to mention to you that I was not liking the way his hoofs are looking and something isnt right. On Monday 10-17-22 I had Another shoer that was highly recommended to come take a look at my horses hoofs, he removed front shoes and checked for abscess, hot nail, soreness etc, his findings were none of the above and recommended putting pads on with a frog filler to help relieve the soreness. (He mentioned my horse seems to only have thin hoof walls and soles and was cut too short) So after getting the pads on I waited until 10-24-22 to see if things would settle and my horse to be sound, he was not, I proceeded to make an appointment for 10-28-22 to bring my horse to Tri Star Equine Veterinary services to see ************************ for lameness exam and X-rays. Findings were, Thin soles and too steep angle of coffin bone. Too much heels and wrong angles. Angles wrong and flares on the lateral and medial aspects of the rear hoofs. It could put stress on the hocks. The spot Captain was tender was over the navicular bursa, but wasnt navicular just tender on the front from having thin soles. He did not pull the pads for X-rays because he said ******** work was done correct, for as much as he could do so close to prior shoeing. I will attach X-rays. With this all being said my horse going lame could have been avoided. Im requesting last two shoeings to refunded to me. As Ive had to pay for shoeing correction and vet bills. I had asked you why he hasnt had new shoes on anytime recently? Your reply was I did them last time, He hasnt had a new set out on since your first time doing him back in June. I also asked why he was done a week early, you mentioned I requested that, in fact I did not. I no longer want to go back abs forth with it. I have it all in my text on my phone which I can disclose if needed as well as X-rays. In good faith hopefully you can do the right thing so we can move forward from this and keep things amicable. Please remove Captain from your schedule. image0.jpegimage1.jpegimage2.jpeg Thank you,***************************
