I dropped by vehicle to the shop on 9/6/23 and picked it up 3/14/24. He provided me a quote of $6,700 and committed to providing full body work before doing a full paint job that would include full exterior body of truck, bed, and door jams. I would occasionally stop by, with his approval, to see where he was in the process of service. As we got closer to completion, I had pointed out several things that had immediately caught my eye and he said he would fix before final inspection but that never happened. A couple of days before I picked it up I did an inspection in the daylight (previously it was just in his ********) and found he never fixed any of my concerns and I also found other problems which included fisheyes on the tailgate area, dust particles in actual paint throughout the vehicle, various areas were not buffed out after paint job which is obvious (orange peel), fender is not aligned with door and hood (he said his previous employee performed this and that he would not correct), bed railing has missing paint, polish residue on the front windshield strip and surrounding sunroof, overspray in interior of vehicle and door panels (both sides). All of this was brought to his attention and his response was that he would not fix/correct any of my concerns and that I need to get my vehicle out of his shop because he had other customers to work on. I was patient with him for the 6 months that he had my vehicle and all asked was for him to correct his mistakes, but he flat out refused to work with me. To top all of this off, when I picked up my vehicle it was covered in dust on both exterior and interior, no detailing was done. During our conversations before dropping vehicle, he was excited to work on my truck and promised me a "show truck" upon completion. It was nowhere close to his promise. I even worked with him when he asked if I could pay the final payment (1/16/24) before it was even done because his bills were past due, and he would lose his shop.
