    Scam..like someone said earlier, they had the model number and I assumed it was one of our vendors...big scam..of course have to send back a $400 dollar invoice and **** product..and the lady seemed nice over the phone..

    US Postage Meter Center received the above referenced customer complaints regarding one incident and appreciates the opportunity to respond. To respond to the above specific issue we need more information. If we get the company name, address and the contact person phone number our escalation team will reach out and explained it to them when and how the order was confirmed and shipped. US Postage Meter Center, Inc. is located in California and committed in providing over 35,000 customers with the highest standards of service possible for the last 33 years. However, when you deal with that many customers we understand that here and there we get some complaints and we try to our best to resolve it. To help us communicate better and to eliminate misunderstanding on our part, we always ship the orders only after its confirmed by the customer. We call our customers more than once and confirm their orders, provide them with their customer number, order confirmation number, and give them our customer service name and phone number. Again in order to ensure the best possible customer service our sales reps always introduce themselves and give our company name when calling any current or prospective customers. Our company name and address is also clearly displayed on all our correspondences including packages, packing list, sales orders and invoices. Whenever we have this kind of issue our collections department reached out to the customer explain when and how the order was confirmed and shipped and ask if they don't need it to return the supplies. Our calls are randomly recorded for training purposes and we offer them to listen to it. US Postage Meter Center, Inc. is committed in providing with the highest standards of service possible.     Same experience as everyone here! What a SHAM! This happens because they send out the products before the invoice! Like others said, they knew we had a new postage machine, said we were running low on ink, sent ** a bunch of other overpriced **** (envelope moisteners, ink maintenance kit) and were jerks (said they have a recording) when I called to figure out how we got stuff we didn't order. Tried to talk me into keeping 2 of the 3 products if I just paid for the ink. I asked about returning and they said it has to be within 3 days on my dime! Um no! Invoice was for over $300. The ink was almost $200 and on Pitney ***** I can get it for $60! Hoping I can call back and attempt to get a return label, highly doubt it...

    Follow up: Was told supplies had to be returned in 3 days. Because compressed air was in the package they sent, it can only be sent ground and can't make it in 3 days, surprise, surprise... Sent all the stuff back, at our expense, and hope to never have to interact with this company ever again. And thank goodness I never sent any payment. Getting a refund would be a headache, I'm sure.

    Ditto story here also - this is my reply to them. We owe them nothing, not even the return of the product according to US legal code 3009 section (b). Please feel free to copy and use my response.

    We received your invoice related to an unsolicited package that we received that contained postage ink.

    Our company did not order this ink, and we did not want it or need it.

    According to US legal code 3009 - section (b) -
    "Any merchandise mailed in violation of subsection (a) of this section, or within the exceptions contained therein, may be treated as a gift by the recipient, who shall have the right to retain, use, discard, or dispose of it in any manner he sees fit without any obligation whatsoever to the sender. All such merchandise shall have attached to it a clear and conspicuous statement informing the recipient that he may treat the merchandise as a gift to him and has the right to retain, use, discard, or dispose of it in any manner he sees fit without any obligation whatsoever to the sender."

    Therefore, this package, according to law, is considered a gift, and we are allowed to discard it in whatever manner we see fit without any obligation to the sender.

    We do not owe any money to anyone or any company for this package. Do not attempt to contact us again.

    This "business" is a complete scam. DO NOT accept any of their offers. Hang up, or tell them you know they are frauds. I am the receptionist/administrative assistant at my workplace. I received a call from a (rude & unpleasant) lady asking to be transferred to whoever handles our postage machine ordering. I went ahead & transferred her to our Office Manager. Unbeknownst to me (I have worked here for about 5.5 mos, still learning the ropes) that my OM doesn't handle the ordering. "Chris" TOLD my office manager that it was time for more ink for our NeoPost. She even knew the model # & how much the stamps are printing for & other information about our machine. This Chris individual did not even ask if we would like to place an order for more ink, on the other hand, she took it upon herself to TELL us that she is going to send the ink to our office. Best part about receiving the package - the $472.11 invoice. There was no conversation about payment due. We reached out to frauds who work at US Postage Meter Center & the lady who answered said that "Chris" was out of the office & would get back to us once she is in the office. The lady also said she would be happy to play the recording between Chris & my Office Manager! What a joke given she told her she DID speak with Chris so she does not need to hear a recording that she knows happened.. US Postage Meter Center, Inc. must be taken down as they are frauds & are pretending to be "new representatives" for companies who utilize postage machines. They must be poaching clients or stole client lists with phone #s and addresses. I cannot imagine how many people and/or companies they have scammed money out of. Karma sucks, though! They will have to be taken down sooner than later.
