    Two loan payments of $257 each have been taken from my checking account in the last month, but these payments have not been credited to my Ascend account! I reported the first payment to Ascend customer service but only got AI generated fake response. I feel completely cheated.

    ****** ******* unethical.Upon further research, I also discovered that it is illegal to issue such loans to residents of ********, and that class action lawsuits are currently pending against similar practices. I have contacted the customer service team, but no viable solutions have been offered.I am currently facing multiple personal hardships, including uncontrolled diabetes, ongoing cancer treatment, and the aftermath of recent home flooding. These circumstances make it increasingly difficult to manage this unjust debtespecially considering that Ascend has already profited by more than $1,200 from my account. Also it should be noted I am a 67-year-old senior affected by excessive loan interest, which has harmed my financial stability. Predatory lending leaves many seniors unable to afford basic needs. In ********, the Predatory Loan Prevention Act (PLPA) exists to protect against such practices.

    2/28/2025 in the amount of $750.00 I have paid this back 2 times over. They never disclosed the terms of agreement which I never would've accepted. This company is stealing from me and I'm sure many others.

    On May 7, 2025 I was in a financial bind and needed cash to help my daughter out. I put in an online application for ***** loan online. One of the offers I got was from Ascend and I accepted it, boy was that a mistake. As I go back through paperwork now I realize that they are chargin me *******% interest, to this point I've made three payments of $233.76 and as of 6/25/2025 they say I still owe $1,057. I had no idea that this tribal loan company was a predatory lender, they took advantage of my quick need for cash, today 6/25/2025 I've turned off my ACH payment option and I'm not paying them anymore money on this loan. I can't believe they are allowed to operate like this. To data I've paid them $701.28 and I still owe more than the $950 I received from them.
