On July 6th, 2024, I purchased a sixthreezero electric bike from a retailer in ********, **. On April 10th, 2025 when attempting to charge the battery, I was electrocuted with a large spark that came off the battery, almost causing fire to my home. The spark was very bright, loud and hurt my hand. I was very scared! My son helped me detach the battery from the bike and placed it outside. I tried calling/emailing sixthreezero. I placed multiple calls and left a voicemail. I also contacted the company through their page, explaining the issue and requesting a replacement battery. The company asked for photos that I emailed. On April 15th I received a response, explaining there was nothing they could do for me, but if I were in ************ to stop by and they would sell me a bike. I contacted the retailer I purchased the bike from, she explained she would get back to me after reaching out to the company. Days later she responded that sixthreezero would not respond to her request, she would give me her battery off of her bike, but she did not have any batteries and could not get sixthreezero to respond. After hearing this I decided to go to sixthreezero's website to leave a review to inform other buyers of the health risk, fire risk and horrible customer service with this company. After leaving my review sixthreezero responded a few days later claiming that I was "a fake, malicious review," and if I were real they would have responded immediately. The CEO would have had this incident sent to him and would have corrected it. I responded to the review that I was a real person and NO one responded or has helped me with this issue. I am left with an electric bike that cannot be charged for safety, as the charging post is no longer able to be charged after the spark/fire. The sad part about this is that I loved riding my bike, I looked forward to it. Now it is a useless item and I am too scared to even charge my daughter's bike, as we bought matching bikes from sixthreezero.Initial Complaint

Ordered the e bike, arrived with no assembly instructions. Charged for 24 hours. The next day I rode the bike all of 35 minutes, not miles, and the bike died. The battery indicated that it was fully charged.Initial Complaint

I placed an order and paid in full on May 31 for a bike that was supposed to ship to me on June 15. After no communication from this company about delays, that date came and went.Unable to reach them by phone, I emailed to request an update and only then, was told my order would now ship July 10. And soon afterwards, received another email stating the order would not even be ready to ship until July 24.I requested cancellation of this order and a full refund on July 8 via email (again, because it was impossible to reach them by phone).The company did not reply until July 16, at which time they confirmed cancellation and said a refund would take 3-5 business days.It is now July 22, I have not received my refund, and the company has emailed me to ask if I would consider keeping my order for a 20% discount.I would like a full refund, as requested 14 days ago and to be done with this company.Initial Complaint

I purchased a bike that was delivered on 12/20/23 and it was not the bike pictured on the website. I called and worked with a customer service agent who had me buy a replacement bike and once received I would return the old bike. I was told I would be contacted to set up a pickup for the other bike and receive an email with a label. When I didn't hear from them I emailed on 2/8/24 and got no response, I then emailed again on 2/20/24 and was told it was too late to return the first bike because I hadn't started the return before 1/31/24, but I started the return with the agent at the very end of December they just didn't put it through.Initial Complaint

I first ordered the black electric tricycle and after waiting a few weeks, contacted them for an ETA. I was shocked to find they were not intending to send me a bike but keep my $1800 and said simply, theyre out of that one so i should pick something else. WTF?!?! And they had never contacted me, just kept my money and let it ride. Once i finally cussed the right person out, and threatened to **** they refunded my money. I then foolishly bought the teal electric tricycle from this company and not only did it come with parts missing, many parts were bent, didnt work, or have caused me to spend hundreds trying to have it fixed. Their customer service is as useless as the bike and they basically run out the clock on the 30 day return warranty with all their antics. At no time have I been able to get help or a human who knows anything about these *********** a condescending idiot through emails.I want to send it back for a refund but they wont accept it because its been just under two months since it took that long to get it functional. AWFUL COMPANY, nothing but lies and heavy advertising.Initial Complaint

I ordered a bike, parts are misssing. Weeks have gone by, parts are not sent and the off shore customer service is lacking the service part of customer service. Awful! I asked that the return policy be extended untill a parts received. I was told no, that I could ride the bike without the missing parts! Absolutely awful!!!!Initial Complaint

I purchased a bike online. I received an order confirmation 11/24/22. A week later, I received an email from a *********************** telling me the bike was out of stock and they were willing to refund my money. I responded saying that my order was confirmed and that I expected the bike I ordered as since they took a week to let me know that it was out of stock, I had now missed all the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. I found the bike at 2 different retailers for a much higher price but don't feel that I should have to pay over $100 more for something that I took lots of time to research and find at a great price from them and that since my order was confirmed, I feel they should do something to resolve the issue to get me the bike or I even offered for them to substitute a bike they did have in stock yet they keep suggested they will refund my money. AND to that point, they charged my credit card for something they didn't have in stock????
