I took in my car for repairs I believe it was on 03/25/ 2024 and the person handling my car, ***** called to tell me that one of their staff had an accident with my car and they were going to fix it. I accepted their offer and pleaded that they should speed up the repairs since I can only drive a hand controlled car ( I am handical ). In response, ***** told the parts had already been ordered. I also requested a rental car and was only given one only about a week later. I picked up the car fron Entreprise and the insurance coverage was taken from my account and I communicated this to *****. On 04/09/24 I called ***** to see if I could go pick my medication from my car. He give me the phone number to the body shop and I was suprised that the parts which he claimed had been ordered were just ordered that day. on hearing this I sent ***** a text message reminding that I was paying daily coverage on the car and so they need to speed up the process. On the day I picked my car, I was told at enterprose once **** pays the balance they will send me the receit to give to Autonation. I also commmunicated this to ***** and he told me that he was going to start the paper work and would communicate to management. I waited for more than a week and then called severally without response from ***** and requested to talk to the Manager who told me he was going to talk to Enterprise and get back to me. He never did. I called again and left a message saying you did not return my call after all efforts to resolve my case peacefully. Immediately he got this, he sent a text message saying he had called but could not leave message. finally on talking to him, he was very rude claiming it was my choice to pay for coverage on the car nad that they were not going to pay. Please I need justice, I need my money back. With my current state of health ( I am a polio patient ) I have alot of limitations and limited strength to work so I would not want my resources wasted.Initial Complaint

bought a truck from auto nation **** in torrance and a protection plan sold my truck that i had for 2 years and wanted to get a refund from the protection plan company so i sent all the forms and wanted a refund for the un used part of the plan its been over 2 months now the say i must contact the selling dealer who wont return my calls please help i am a senior and money is tightInitial Complaint

On October 24, 2023 I went to AutoNation Ford Torrance located at ***************************************, Torrance, ** *****, with the intention of purchasing a 2016 Telsa Model X. I informed the business that I already had an auto loan approval from Golden 1 ************ and wished to proceed with financing through them. They instructed me to fill out an application form assuring me that it was solely for identity verification purposes, as I already had an existing approval for an auto loan which covered the cost of the vehicle I was intending to purchase.After collecting my information, the business proceeded to run my credit a total of ten times without my knowledge or authorization. I purchased a new **** Maverick from AutoNation Ford Torrance on 4/27/2023. I had financing in place with my credit union. However, I was told during the purchase that I would need to sign an "option" contract since I don't have the actual check and had a week to bring the check from my credit union to payoff the purchase. On 5/1/2023, I hand delivered a check to ***** (spelling?) in the finance department and he said that I was "all set". Towards the end of May, I received a bill from *********** auto finance for a first monthly car payment for a loan that was not suppose to have been in place. So I now have 2 bills - one from my credit union and one from *********** (that I didn't want anyway). Also, I have no idea what the finance guy did with the check I hand delivered from my credit union. It is missing. I called *********** and they informed me they have no record of receiving the check. Additionally, I am incurring interest charges on the *********** loan which so far is a few hundred dollars above what the credit union check was cut for. I tried several times to reach the finance ***** and also my sales person and no one is helping. This loan is also now on my credit report.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Certified vehicle with a warranty on 03-14-2023 from Autonation Ford Torrance. 2017 *** X3. After only having the vehicle a week I heard a loud squeeking noise that started occurring randomly. I took it to Autonation Ford Torrance and they said it was the brakes and repaired the rear brakes but the next day the noise continued with a new problem discovered, The gears would sometimes shift on its own from drive to park while I was stopped. I got a 2nd opinion by taking it to ************* . They performed a thorough inspection and found major problems/ A leak in the Turbo engine, a leak in the front right strut and a low voltage battery. Autonation Ford Torrance sold me a vehicle with the issues stated above discovered by *************. As a certified vehicle with a warranty it shouldn't have been sold without proper inspections needed to certify a vehicle. Autonation Ford Torrance decided to repair ONLY the Leak in the Turbo engine. Autonation Ford Torrance said the other problems were not under warranty, I responded that the car is Certified, which means that a thorough inspection is supposed to be conducted before selling the vehicle. They have a responsibility to repair the car problems. I want them to ( Repair) the Front Right Strut because the car is certified I only had the car a week before noticing the first problem. My car has spent about a month total in the shop not to long after purchasing it. Repairing what's needed is the right thing to do . The Front Strut I'm hoping no new problems occur after this gets resolved.Initial Complaint

I've been having issues since October of 22 that they had me pay various amounts of money to try to fix to no avail, now after finally getting to what the problem is and ordering parts allegedly, they won't contact me as to a repair schedule, when the parts are coming in, or even just assurance that they're on their way. Just complete radio slience, ***************************, my service tech, will not respond to any phone calls or emails, and I'm left in limbo by the people that are supposed to take care of my vehicle and with no functioning vehicle. All I need is two catalytic converters, installed, and before March 31 since that's when my smog is due.Initial Complaint

I purchased a used vehicle from Ford Torrance in April 2022 and immediately reported several issues with the car such as an issue with the airbag and a loud noise coming from under the vehicle. After getting the runaround and having to take my car to the shop on multiple occasions, they finally were able to fix the airbag issue but claimed that there was nothing wrong with the car based on the loud noise and claimed it was safe. The noise is absolutely not normal and after getting a second opinion, the shop found numerous broken parts related to the suspension. The car is not safe to drive as the issues cause the car to steer into other lanes which I confirmed is not due to it needing an alignment. Ford sold me the car with these issues and are not fixing them, but instead giving me the runaround while claiming that everything is ok and the car is safe when in fact, it is not safe.
