On November 30, 2021, I purchased a 2005 *********************************** (VIN: *****************) from AutoNation Ford Torrance. As part of the sale, I was sold an Assurant "Platinum Level" extended service contract. The vehicle had been professionally converted into a camper van by *********, which was fully disclosed and clearly visible in photos provided by the dealership before the ******* the time of purchase, I was explicitly assured by AutoNation staff that the vehicleand its camper componentswould be fully eligible for warranty coverage. Based on these representations, I purchased the extended warranty for $2,********* August 2024, a covered repair (water pump) was approved and completed under the warranty, confirming the policy was active and applicable. However, in January 2025, I brought the vehicle in for a fuel leak repair estimated at $6,479. Initially, the dealership told me it would be covered. After a six-week delay, the claim was denied by Assurant, citing that the vehicle had been modified into a campera fact fully known at the time of sale.I sent a formal demand letter on May 27, 2025, to both AutoNation and Assurant, requesting either reimbursement for the denied repair ($6,784, including a $305 diagnostic fee) or a full refund of the service contract. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have received no response. This situation involves misrepresentation, poor communication, and failure to honor a service agreement. I am seeking either a refund of the extended warranty or reimbursement for the denied repair costs.

In March 2025, I purchased an extended vehicle warranty from AutoNation **** in Torrance. I paid a deposit of over $2,000 and signed a contract for monthly installments to cover the warranty cost. I provided my credit card information to be billed to cover the monthly payments. To date, no payments have been processed, and neither **** nor *****, the finance company, has any record of my purchase of a ************ extended warranty plan. I have contacted AutoNation **** multiple times, but I have received no answers or updates regarding my situation. I need help in resolving this issueThank you!

I leased a vehicle from *********** **** in Torrance Ca on February 28, 2025 trading in my previously leased vehicle. As of today, May 7, 2025, my previous lease company has not received the payoff amount. I have contacted my salesperson who has spoken with the finance guy who says the check was sent. At this point I have made two new car payments and three payments for my previous vehicle.

On November 16, I traded my *** for a minivan because of my wife's health needs (wheelchair, walkers, etc.). I still have a remaining balance on the *** I traded and needs to be paid off. The next week, I noticed that the new loan for the minivan is already reflected in my account and my first payment will be made on December 31. I have been informing the salesperson who never failed to assist me to follow up with management to help me with the payoff of the first loan because the payment is due on December 06. And December 6 came, and despite the daily follow-up, nothing was done. I have to make the payment on December 6. I have not received any concrete resolution on when I expect the payoff and not to make double monthly payments.

On Aug. 9, 2024 I purchased a used **** Fusion hybrid from Autonation Ford Torrance (AFT). The car's infotainment module was not working properly during my test drive; specifically, the radio, climate and navigation buttons were not working ******. Even the clock on the infotainment screen was stopped. I called it to the attention of my test drive chaperone, O.M. , a member of the *** team. O.M. acknowledged the problem and was quick to assure me that he would have **** used car maintenance supervisor work on it. Otherwise, I liked the car. A ****** is also important to note that during their courtship ******, **** staff, led by J.S., presented me with ****s Blue Advantage Gold Certified Vehicle Inspection Checklist. Among the features that were rated as passed were the audio and alarm systems, the navigation system and the clock. This rating, as it turned out, was inaccurate and misleading. Two or three days later, I finally bought the car after I was assured the infotainment system had been fixed - and that seemed to be the case. But on the day of purchase, as I was driving home, the system went on the blink again.I went back to **** and warned them, rather hotly, that they needed to fix this situation or I would exercise my right to return the car and get a refund during the five-day money-back guarantee ******. Again, I was assured the problem would be fixed at ****s expense; the parts, I was informed, would cost $800. After the five-day grace ****** elapsed, I began to fear I was holding a bagful of empty promises. Now, nearly 7 weeks after buying the car, **** is not replying to my emails. I have no assurance **** is trying to help me or feels any obligation to honor their promises. I have emailed **** a variety of videotapes that show the astounding variety of module dysfunctionality I'm experiencing. I initially sent these videotapes to help **** accurately diagnose the problem. No thanks. No reply.

I took in my car for repairs I believe it was on 03/25/ 2024 and the person handling my car, ***** called to tell me that one of their staff had an accident with my car and they were going to fix it. I accepted their offer and pleaded that they should speed up the repairs since I can only drive a hand controlled car ( I am handical ). In response, ***** told the parts had already been ordered. I also requested a rental car and was only given one only about a week later. I picked up the car fron Entreprise and the insurance coverage was taken from my account and I communicated this to *****. On 04/09/24 I called ***** to see if I could go pick my medication from my car. He give me the phone number to the body shop and I was suprised that the parts which he claimed had been ordered were just ordered that day. on hearing this I sent ***** a text message reminding that I was paying daily coverage on the car and so they need to speed up the process. On the day I picked my car, I was told at enterprose once **** pays the balance they will send me the receit to give to Autonation. I also commmunicated this to ***** and he told me that he was going to start the paper work and would communicate to management. I waited for more than a week and then called severally without response from ***** and requested to talk to the Manager who told me he was going to talk to Enterprise and get back to me. He never did. I called again and left a message saying you did not return my call after all efforts to resolve my case peacefully. Immediately he got this, he sent a text message saying he had called but could not leave message. finally on talking to him, he was very rude claiming it was my choice to pay for coverage on the car nad that they were not going to pay. Please I need justice, I need my money back. With my current state of health ( I am a polio patient ) I have alot of limitations and limited strength to work so I would not want my resources wasted.

On October 24, 2023 I went to AutoNation Ford Torrance located at ***************************************, Torrance, ** *****, with the intention of purchasing a 2016 Telsa Model X. I informed the business that I already had an auto loan approval from Golden 1 ************ and wished to proceed with financing through them. They instructed me to fill out an application form assuring me that it was solely for identity verification purposes, as I already had an existing approval for an auto loan which covered the cost of the vehicle I was intending to purchase. After collecting my information, the business proceeded to run my credit a total of ten times without my knowledge or authorization. This severely impacted my credit score.I requested they [copy and paste] the letter below to their company letterhead, and provide signed copy via email to me within 48 hours of the time of my request but I am not getting a response from them.[date]RE: Request to Remove Unauthorized Credit Inquiries Dear credit bureau, lending company, and/or whom it may concern:The following credit inquiries were made by our company without authorization from ************************** and we request prompt deletion:Oct 24, 2023 - POWER **** Oct 24, 2023 - *********** AUTO FINANCE Oct 24, 2023 - ALLY FINANCIAL C/O GMAC AUTO F Oct 24, 2023 - ALLY FINANCIAL Oct 24, 2023 - NOWCOM/WESTLAKE FINANCIAL SERV Oct 24, 2023 - *************/DS Oct 25, 2023 - **** OF AMERICA Oct 25, 2023 - CUDL/KINETCTA FEDERA CU Oct 25, 2023 - ARROWHEAD CENTRAL CU Oct 25, 2023 - GLOBAL LENDING SERVICES Sincerely, [YOUR NAME]
