I placed an order and realized I made a mistake on the order (this order had an autoship attached to it.) I emailed them and asked to cancel this order. I received an email confirmation that the order was canceled. (See attached). I received an email that my autoship was being prepared to ship. I emailed them (as there is no phone number to call). They basically said its non refundable. I have sent several emails with the proof this order was cancelled and havent received a response.Initial Complaint

On June 30 2023 I placed an online order for Kombucha from Health-Ade. This was order #******.On July 3 2023 I received a note that the product was out of stock, and I would receive a refund.Also on July 3, 2023 my credit card was charged $50.90 by Health-Ade.On July 11th I received an email stating that I would be refunded $*****.On July 13th, ***** was credited to my account.There was no reason for the refund to be less than the amount charged, as no merchandise was recieved. I have asked for an explanation, but received no communication.Initial Complaint

Health-Ade is a producer and supplier of fermented Kombucha drinks that are improperly shipped, with my last two orders having spent over 6 days in transit unrefrigerated and due to the poor packing for shipment, multiple glass bottles are broken in EVERY SHIPMENT that I have received. Glass bottles need to be individually wrapped to prevent the bacterial liquid from contaminating the entire shipment. Also, an independent test would show the alcohol content of these products exceed the allowable levels due to prolonged heat exposure while in transit. Buyers need to be aware the although Health-Ade has been informed directly several times of these issues and simply wants to provide a refund instead of taking the necessary steps to address the systemic casues of both the elevated alcohol levels as well as the broken glass bottles in every shipment. The cost per bottle should allow for better individually wrapped bottles as well as a more securely sealed box that allows cold packaging to actually stay cold. Also, two days shipping should be made the standard as my last shipment spent over a week in transit and is completely unusable and this was already a replacement shipment for the shipment that arrived prior with several broken bottles. So not only did I wait extra time, I eventually received more broken bottles plus kombucba with elevated levels of alcohol due to 6 days of unrefrigerated heat exposure. I am done trying to deal directly with Health-Ade's customer service and I want other consumers to know that they may want to consider other Kombucha providers that care about the product arriving in a usable form. It's also important to note that Health-Ade kombucha has under .5% alcohol ABV through the end of shelf life and is therefore recognized federally as non-alcoholic, regardless of heat exposure in transit.
