I wanted a written apology, in lieu of us pursuing further action.
Having our reputation besmirched by this company’s inattention to their own publishing has caused us embarassment.
We are a highly regarded business, and personally serve in numerous Boards in our community and state.
Looking at the complaint history for this company and their reviews tells me this is a commin occurance.

We received your concern regarding the inaccurate property listing. The accuracy of our website is a top priority for us. We provide our subscribers with access to over one million listings. Our standardized database makes it easy for customers to search for properties of interest across the country. The information presented on our website is sourced through agreements with real estate data providers. These professionals work very hard to provide us with accurate and up-to-date information. Although we strive for perfection, there are occasional inaccuracies due to the status of listing changing (i.e.) sale or withdrawal of the property, delays in updating public records by banks and owners, or clerical errors.
Our business depends on providing our paying members with the best information available. This is why we remove property at an owner’s request without requiring the property owner to present any documentation. Our goal is to process all listing removal requests upon receipt of call, email, or letter. The property will be removed from the website within 24 hrs.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. The homeowner can be assured that the request has been handled. If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

My bank was charge 9.89 for this service. That I NEVER SUBSCRIBED TO. My bank blocked the payment. But I want to know how they are able to charge someone. When that person never asked for the order.

Thank you for the opportunity to address the complaint raised by our customer. The customer enrolled in a 7-day $1 trial offer on May 27, 2025. We require each member to check a box stating that he/she has read and agreed to the terms of use and pricing information before registering the account. We require all members to provide their full name, home address, and complete credit card information, including the CVV (the three-digit number located on the back of the card). The bank authorized the payments since the information provided matched the records on file. After registering the account, we sent a Welcome Letter immediately to the email address provided. We have no access to the customer’s personal or financial information.
Since the customer stopped the payment of the card, no further charges have been billed. The account has been closed and the email addressed has been banned from further use.

This company posted MY HOUSE FOR AUCTION and said it was in FORCLOSURE! It is NOT. Either faults advertised or a SCAM!!! I want to know WHERE they got the information on my property.Business Response

RealtyStore.com on April 08th, 2025 I paid $1.00 to subscribed. On April 10th, I called to cancel subscription, since it was not what I was interested in. I also was receiving several text messages. they said it was cancelled.
On From April 12th to May 15th I continued to receive text messages, so again I called over 6 times to please cancel and to remove my phone number from their phone list, I was told several times that my subscription is canceled and that I would not receive text messages, Realty Store ended up charging me $49.60 on May 12th, again I called the office and was told to fill our a form and mail it to Realty Store 310 North Westlake Blvd#200, Thousand Oaks 91362, Which i wrote them and mailed the form out. As of today May 26th they still have not removed the $49.60 from my account and I am continuing to receive several text messages from them after calling them over 7 times to please remove my number from there list and again they say they will. Our findings show that on 04/07/2025, the customer successfully enrolled in a 30-day $1.00 trial membership to Realtystore.com. The customer did not contact us during the trial period to cancel the membership or after the membership commenced. As per the membership agreement that the customer acknowledged, we charged the credit card on file for the monthly membership fee. All of these details, including trial length, trial price, the monthly membership fee, and cancellation process, are clearly stated on the signup page, on our Terms and Conditions page, and in the Welcome Email that is sent out immediately upon sign up.
We provide our customers with multiple options to cancel their membership, they can contact our customer service center during business hours, email us anytime or online using our “Contact Us” page. Our customer service center contact number and email can be found on our website. In addition, our contact number is located next to the transaction on their monthly credit card statement.
In the complaint the customer stated that he/she called multiple times to remove their phone number from our call list. Our records show that the customer did call multiple times to unsubscribe her phone number and each time the customer’s phone number was unsubscribed, but the customer did not request to cancel their membership. We record all calls for quality assurance purposes and document all contacts. We provide customers with a cancellation number and send an email confirming the cancellation immediately.
On 05/13/2025, the customer called into Realtystore.com after finding that they had been charged $49.60 for the monthly subscription fee. The customer had registered the account with a different phone number and email address from the one they had requested be removed from the call list and from what was provided to the BBB. The agent explained the service that they had signed up for and the refund process. The customer accepted the refund application and returned the completed form on 5/20/25. Once the application is received it can take up to 10-20 days to complete the process. On 05/26/2025, we received an email from the customer inquiring about their refund.
We apologize for any inconvenience but the customer can be assured that their phone number has been added to the DNC list and will no longer receive any text messages, that their account has been canceled and on 05/27/2025, as a one-time courtesy a refund was issued. The site is supposed to show available current listings for homes as well as foreclosures. The site shows many listings that were closed months ago, leading to false beliefs that the properties and homes are on the market. I was excited to see a few of the listings, and contacted my realtor who told me that those listings have been closed/off the market for months. I thought maybe Realty Store was a place that I was finding hidden gems, but in reality, no wonder these listings weren't on Zillow or Realtor.com. I am not paying over $70 a month for this service. Lastly, the only way to cancel the membership is to call the customer service, and no one answers. I was on the phone multiple times for several minutes each time, without any sort of estimate on when a representative would be on the phone. I just want my membership cancelled.
Also the website is extremely slow with loading the content, and is not user friendly because of this.Business Response

According to our phone records, the customer contacted us on 3/16/2025 and waited 3.7 minutes before disconnecting. The customer then proceeded to enroll in the $1 trial offer on 3/18/2025. The account was canceled on 3/19/2025 after receiving the BBB compliant. We are not able to find any other contacts from the customer's telephone number. .
We are sorry that the customer experienced several out-of-date listings. Customers may contact our customer service center and we will promtly investigate any properties. If the property is deemed out-of-date or inaccurate, we will remove or fix immediately. The accuracy of our website is a top priority for us. Our findings show that on 03/13/2025, the customer successfully enrolled in a 30-day $1.00 trial membership to Realtystore.com for a Full Access Membership and opted for the Additional Listings and the Foreclosures eBook for $3.00. Upon completion of the sign up the customer was charged the $1.00 trial fee and $3.00 for the Additional Listings. In addition, a preauthorization for the weekly membership fee of $12.49 was placed on the customer’s credit card.
On 03/15/2025, the customer sent an email cancellation request from the email address on file for this account. This is the same email address provided in the BBB complaint. The subscription was immediately canceled and the pending charge was voided.
In the complaint the customer stated that even after signing up he was not able to look at listings. We are sorry to hear the customer was having technical issues and we apologize for any inconvenience. We offer our customers multiple options to contact us for assistance, they can contact our customer service center during business hours, email us anytime or online using our “Contact Us” page. Our customer service center contact number and email can be found on our website and in the Welcome email sent out immediately upon sign-up.
On 03/17/2025, upon receipt of this complaint as a one-time courtesy a refund was issued for the trial fee and additional listings. No other charges were collected. Please let us know if you require further information.
