    On May 16, 2024, I signed an agreed with Ultimate Tax Group to resolve my tax debt situation. I was told the process, along with being inform there would be down times between ***** days of gatherings information to file with the **** I was told on day one of the agreement to sign a *** that would be sent to the *** immediately. The agent informed me that Ultimate Tax Group would handle all communications to resolve my issues once they contacted the *** to file documents on my behalf. Initially, I was told the *** that I signed and other documents would be sent to me. I never received the copy of the *** on my behalf nor any documentation since the initial questionnaire form. I was informed that the *** would not contact me after I signed the *** because Ultimate Tax Group would immediately file the *** and other documents with the *** on my behalf. That was not the case because I have continued to receive notices from the ***. In November 2024, I spoke to an agent that inform me my payment had been decline and at that point I requested information regarding my situation. A few days later, I contacted the agent again requesting an update to my tax situation and he couldnt provide an update. I paid the required monthly payment and never received a resolution to my tax debt status. I have email the agent that I was working with and I have not received any response. Im very disappointed that Ultimate Tax Group took my money and did not perform services as promised. I am very disappointed in the failed services provided to me as I saw so many positive reviews.

    The client is correct in the fact that our initial discovery and gathering of documents from the *** can take up to 90 days. Upon gathering all of the information from the *** we found the client was missing 4 years of filings which we agreed to file for him. The last payment received from the client was in November. We kept trying to contact the client to explain about the tax filings needed but communication ceased from there. In fact, we called him every month including and up to this month to discuss the case. All we need is communication from the client. My name is ******* ****** and can be reached at ************, my direct dial phone line. 

    We did file the *** with the *** obviously or wouldn't be able to have ascertained the information on his account and the missing filings. If the monthly payment is too high for the client I'll be more than happy to work with him. 

    Actually, it was our Enrolled Agent who contacted him directly to go over the need for the tax filings.

    We always explain to the clients that we will request a hold on any collection activity but the *** notifications are constant. We explain that we will start to receive the same letters he is getting. 

    A significant amount of work has been completed and we'll be more than happy to resume upon communication from the client. I'll personally have my Director of Resolution oversee the clients case from here moving forward.

    aug. 2024 spoke with optima tax, Ladys name ******. she told me she would be handling my file that she was opening. after a few tel call texts, I authorize a deposit/down paymenet using my credit card. Later when checking my creditcard my bank informed me of the charge being billed from a Marridge counseling service. I told bank that fals/fraud charge. Bank to action and declined charge. Chanel @ ****** called me and said their payment was declined. after during our discussion It was brought to my attention of their billing name. I then re-authorized payment. later another charge appeared for my monthly payment. after that i could not reach the, as I was trying to answer a tel. call from them. in short; I called, texted many many times. I got no where. after a period of time the office told me I need to talk with ******, several attempts again. no reply to me, I texted her as well. Finally this seems as very unproffesional. Last messages I said please RESPONED TO ME OR I WILL CANCEL AND REQUEST ALL MONIES TO TO OPTIMA TAX. OR I WILL GO TO A REPUTABLE TAX SPECIALIST. To this day I have not received any for of communication from Optima tax *********** I have now contracted with another Firm to Help My IRS situation. My credit card will not help on my return of money, as they say It was originally filled as Fraud. They day I reorted it as fraud I called the back and to them it was not fraud, but was a billing Heading/Name confusion. I then at that time authorized the payment again. My credit card *** still investigated as a fraud. Apparently Optima respoNDED to my cc. *** in the fraud ********** Credit card will not investigate My claim to cancel for UNPROFFESIONAL/NEGLECT SERVICE Optima tax service Has been very un-proffessional I now Hear that they have several compliant file Over 300 pending this year and 1200 were settled or closed with *********** BETTER BUSINES BUREAU. seeking RETURN OF MONEY

    This consumer must be confused. We're not Optima Tax, obviously. We don't bill as Marridge counseling service. In the complaint the consumer states ' I have now contracted with another Firm to Help My IRS situation.'. Ironically, we are actually the tax firm he subsequently hired to help with his *** situation. He hired us on October 29th by calling a ****** Ad, while the complaint references August of 2024 and speaking to a ******. We have no ****** here. We will have our Director of Resolution ***** ******* call the client personally to clear up any possible confusion. 

    The consumers complaint could be valid but he must have us confused with another company.

    I would like to file a complaint against the ultimate taxe group in **********. they were supposed to have been helping me get my taxes straighten out and reduced, but as a result I have another bill that I can not pay that they created.they told me stories and lies., they were dishonest with me in what they told me concerning the three year resolution in which they got me on.i had asked them beforehand if they had already talked with the *** before they put me on the three year resolution, now thank to them i still have to pay the *** as well as the bank for that money that was ****** for me.. i do not why they the ultimate taxe group decided not to do the monthly installment of ****** like we had agreed upon from the start , they did get ****** out of my checking account in july, then they stop. they charged me ***** to work my case, but they have not really done anything.that would be helpful to me..i do know this , i am not going to make those monthly payment to that bank.. because they was not truthful about things with me.. my next letter is going to be to the justice department. right now i can not afford a lawer to help me out., .this was not the way that it was to susposed to have went. something is wrong some where. they just got greedy for money, and they got it the best way that they knew how, by lying to me.
