      This is the WORST moving company - DO NOT USE THEM!! (I would put zero stars, but it makes you select at least one.) They guaranteed our longings would be delivered within 2 days and it took over a month & 1/2 to get them. Every time I called the office, I was told they needed to check with "dispatch" to get an update. I called every day for several weeks and not once did anyone call me back with an update. I was finally told that my items were placed in storage and they were waiting until another trip was heading in my direction before they would deliver my things. They said it could take up to 30 days. The receptionist would never give out a supervisor/manager name, nor provide me with any other contact info to go higher up the chain to inquire about my belongings. On the day they were finally supposed to deliver, they never showed up. I called the office and was told their truck broke down and they needed to wait several days for the part to arrive so they could fix the truck. Once my items finally arrived, my items were in disarray on the truck. Boxes were flipped upside down all over the truck, a lawn mower that wasn't even mine was upside down in the truck on top of my boxes, which spilled oil over everything. Every single piece of furniture I had was either broken or badly scratched up. They also lost several items. I did file a claim about the lost/broken/scratched items, which was over $9k in damages/lost items. After several more weeks, they came back with an "offer" to reimburse me with $120.00, yes that's one hundred and twenty dollars - what a joke!! They said they would only pay $0.60 per pound for my damaged/lost items (they assumed the weight of each item by their calculations) and they wouldnt cover all of the items that were damaged/lost either. Do not use this company!!!

      AVOID THIS COMPANY! THEY STEAL YOUR VALUABLES! My $2000 ************************* chair went missing when they moved all my belongings. After 2 weeks of investigation they offered to pay me $18. What a joke.

      DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! At least not if you value your time, energy, money, and furniture!I hired Best ******************************* this last September through a broker. HUGE MISTAKE! They were 3 days late for pick up causing me to delay my move cross country by two weeks! When they finally arrived 2 weeks later absolutely refused payment until all my items were packed in their truck. This was to hide all the extra charges added to my bill. The mover crossed off the optional insurance on my contract! Also, upon delivery, refused to let me see or inspect anything until final payment was made. ************* center and ******* lamp ($35 for box) completely destroyed and my 50 inch is flat screen tv ($100 for box) missing/stolen. Several erroneous charges :- parked further away for walk charge - I had half the boxes I was told I could have and charged for being over capacity (I had triple checked) - I was told one flight of stairs at pickup and delivery was included. Their definition of a staircase is 6 steps. I'D LIKE TO KNOW HOW A PERSON CAN GET TO THE SECOND FLOOR IN 6 STEPS. Charged for both. I was reassured several times a staircase was included!-estimate was for $2,000 charged $3,400 Upon seeing the entertainment center was completely destroyed I was told there would be a dump fee! I now have to PAY THEM to destroy a piece of furniture and haul it?!!! The movers told me if I tipped them they would "take care of it" ! (Dump on highway?)I called the broker who had obviously dealt with complaints regarding these movers in the past, and Best Moving Van Lines, filled out the complaint/claim form, jumped through their hoops, waited 4-6 weeks for a reply; I finally got one. $99 settlement! THAT DOESN'T EVEN COVER THE COST OF THE CARDBOARD BOX FOR THE **** Settlement never came. No surprise. I am still upset for not calling the police department upon discovering my possessions were stolen and not filing a report. Contacting Consumer Complaint Affairs next. . .

      This company ******************************* lied about delivery date they held my items for 3 months and never notified me I had to constanley call them and was given vague responses also when my items finally arrived, there were several things broken , I had to sleep in my car for weeks because they lied about the delivery date, I asked for compensation they refused I dont want them to do this to anyone else especially a senior citizen as myself
