  TL;DR: Shameful behavior from a business owner. Even if you get a coupon in the mail, do not give this place your money. If this is how the average person walking through the door is treated, Green Smog needs new management ******** father and I came in on a weekday morning with a coupon for a reasonably priced smog check. I hadnt checked the reviews beforehand but noticed an ******************** sign and thought it looked promising. Inside, a short man with glasses asked if we had our DMV papers. My dad said no, and the man replied no problem only to follow it up 30 seconds later with no papers, $5 extra. First red flag.When my father politely asked if he could look up our car information in his system (a completely reasonable request), the man snapped, Its your car, you expect me to have it in my system? Second red flag. Every licensed smog shop uses a state-connected system that pulls your vehicles info once they enter your plate or VIN, and thats exactly what he would have had to do anyway. The $5 fee felt like a made-up charge to offset the coupon.Still, my dad, ever polite, asked a final question about the price. The mans tone turned mocking: You gave me the coupon and you dont know how much it was for? Third red flag. By that point, the disrespect was clearly a pattern.I told him his behavior was shameful before we left. He swore back at me, how very professional of him.Bottom line: even with a coupon, dont waste your time or money here. Plenty of smog shops offer fair prices without the side of disrespect. If this is new management, Green Smog might need another one already.
