  Losing your data is very nerve-wracking and so many of the recovery services I came across felt intimidating at best and predatory at worst. $300 Data Recovery made their terms and services very clear and from the moment I started the process they kept me in the loop.   $300 Data Recovery is an amazing service! They're very communicative and managed to completely recover my drive after diagnosing the problem. I know exactly who I'll recommend or go back to if I ever need drive recovery!I was definitely a little suspicious at first because after my drive of over 12 years crashed I was in all sorts of moods, but reassurance and research proved them to be the best option.   $300 Data Recovery has been a lifesaver! My 10+ year old Western Digital Passport that contains my WHOLE data life (ALL pics, financial & personal files, etc) gave out on me. All other companies (including BestBuy) only gave a cost range from $300 up to $4k with exact pricing once they evaluate the drive/issue. I lucked up and found 300DDR recommended on a Reddit thread and after doing my research on them (checked out their website [which provides a lot of info out the gate], BBB, ****** mapped them, ****** & Yelp reviews, Cali SOS business search [couldnt find them though], I felt comfortable giving them a try. I found them to be very realistic with their success rate and capabilities and did not overpromise just to get my business only to underdeliver. Their pricing is upfront, clear, and at the lower range for the industry. They provide regular updates, have great customer service, a streamlined process, and quick turnaround time. I highly recommend them (and am thanking my lucky stars for that Reddit thread because I would not have found them otherwise)!

  We first contacted another company who told us $3800. We had just lost everything & were desperate because I had all of my late friends ******************* that no one else had. Strange enough even all my backups were lost as well. But thank goodness I looked through the BBB's listings & found $300 Data Recovery which had great ratings & reviews. I can not be more thankful for all the hard work they did. I had issues with the drive I sent so my only hope was they send it to a partner recovery specialist in ****** that actually recovered everything for us.They didn't even price ***** for the service. Highly impressed & they communicated every step of the way. I would suggest the company to anyone who finds themselves in this situation.

  I'm very happy with my entire experience with $300DataRecovery. They were prompt in replying to my email and provided clear instructions on their process. I was kept informed every step of the way.   My overall experience was *******x better than i had ever expected to be! If I went to another service, it would have cost thousands of dollars!! I roughly paid roughly around $400 USD which included shipping fees to and from the facility and the donor drive for the parts needed for the recovery). From the beginning to end, they made sure that I was up to date on everything going on with my hard drive and the data recovery. Although anxious with anticipation the whole time, it was overall exciting waiting for every update. I was never in the dark about the progress & this was important to me as i had to put trust to a team with my hard drive that *** or not be able to be recovered with someone that I couldn't meet in person and they also had my working hard drive that i sent along to move the data to.The assessment before initiating services was a great way to help me make a decision about getting services from the team. The website was thorough with their explanation about why it only costed $300 and other fees that would be incur for certain situations. It was touch and go with how much my data was going to be recovered based on their own diagnosis (upon their own evaluation when they had my hard drive they initially thought i would be lucky to even get 50% of my data because of the platter damage they discovered) but i was very fortunate that the assessment was right and i got my data back!!!! TLDR; Best experience I had with them, didn't cost me thousands of dollars for the service and communication from the team from start to end is top notch. They were thorough with the process, never left me in the dark about the progress of the data recovery and was fortunate to get all of my data back by the end of this. Information on their website and instructions from beginning to end are very clear even to someone who is tech illiterate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 100%

  My hard drive with lot of photos, video and document over several years. suddenly the hard drive stop working and freeze my computer to bootup. I suspected some mechanic is broken inside such as some movement parts stuck or head damage. I opened the hard drive cover to inspected inside to see what's wrong, I didn't realize by open the cover it can expose more damage to it. Note: if anyone has the similar hard drive issue, shouldn't open the hard drive yourself. with ****** around for several day for a good data recovery company. I finally found out 300DataRecovery has very good reviews and flat rate charges. I email ***** who gave me a high success rate, help me found a donate hard drive with the same model, serial number, etc. I shipped in the damage drive with the donor drive. After few days, they came back with good news and were able to recover ****% of my data with the head replacement with no extract charges. I paid $300 with my donate drive and the turnaround time was quick. I believe I have saved $1300 with the same job done by other data recovery. ***** from ***

  Absolutely excellent service. I'm sad it took me more searching than I hate to admit to find this group as they are definitely offering a premium service at a price the rest. can't compete with.
  Normally I would spend the time to figure this out myself, but lacking the space and reliability needed to bypass the manufacturer's drive encryption to access my data led to me seeking professional options. After a week or I caught this company's name through a lot of online word of mouth, though not much in terms of official "best of" lists or the like. The reception seemed really positive and my dissuasion from price quotes and pushiness from other companies led to me trying them out.
  Primary communication is through email with secondary text updates, though you can call them if you need to. Outside of the initial shipment to them the prices is exactly as advertised: 300 dollars, with $100 extra for larger ( > 2TB) drives or drives with encryption. Both of those described my drive, but even then the grand total was well under half of what the other notable companies were giving me.
  That's not to mention the timetable. There wasn't any waiting list of priority queue at the time I sent my drive. Once it was received by them it was within a day that they responded reciprocating my own diagnosis of my drive's problems, and a day later they responded letting me know what they were able to recover (everything, with a list of the files as well). And throughout they wait for your responses patiently before moving forward with anything and WITHOUT pestering you daily.
  Even their return packaging had me blushing as their package density made me ashamed of the sad amount of bubble wrap I had deemed adequate when initially sending my drives out.
  But yeah, this team is the real deal. Ideally I hope to take better care to not need this service again in the future, but if I ever do I know exactly who I'm turning to. No hesitation.

  This is now the 2nd and great experience I have had with $300 Data Recovery. They have exceeded my expectations again. Just to briefly share why this was so special. I have a niece, who is a single mom, that had a 3.5" hard drive from over 10 years ago, that went belly-up then. When the local data recovery shop couldn't recover the data, they recommended $300 Data Recovery (and I'm glad they did). When $300 Data Recovery recovered 100% of the data, I gave the (recovered) good drive to my niece and she was in tears, having so many memory photos and videos recovered. That made her day and mine.
