      Car has burnt through 2 qts of oil in under 24 hrs. Have only had it since 4:00 yesterday

      I gave a down payment of **** not even 30 days later the water pump on the vehicle was bad and had to pay **** to have the vehicle fixed I have made 3 on time payments to the financial loan company and one day at work the vehicle was towed, Im seeking reimbursement from ******************* and the down payment made and the **** to fix the vehicle, I have receipts of everything and there was no notice they were going to just come and take my vehicle because of a 350 dollar deferred payment to the dealership. Did not want to pay because they sold me a car with a **** dollar fix.

      *********************** came to S&S Auto Sales, *** on 9/21/2022 to purchase a vehicle. ************** purchased a 2014 **** Explorer with a sales price of $16,499.00. ************** was requested to pay $1,650.00 as a Down Payment. ************* only had $1,200.00 on this day, as a courtesy for customer to drive home on 9/2/2022, he agreed to pay the balance of the $350.00 for thwe down payment on 10/5/2022, many attempts by S&S to collect the balance of down payment were not met by **************. ************** bought his vehicle "AS_IS". On 10/20/2022 the loan was purchased by ****************** with a 2 pmt recourse. ***************** 1st payment was due on 11/2/2022, according to ********** law, that if said payment is due on the 2nd of the month and is not paid accordingly, the vehicle can be repossessed on the 3rd of the month, just one day after payment is due. On 11/17/2022 customer ************* had not made his 1st payment to ******************, who in return forced S&S Auto Sales, *** to repurchase loan for 1st payment default. **** was repurchased on 11/17/2022. According to Westlake ************** made a payment 20+ days after the due date of 11/2/2022. ********** law does not require a financial institution to warn a customer that their vehicle will be picked up, failure to make timely paymnent's  according to the legal and binding contract ************* signed is all a finance company needs to proceed to protect their collateral. Vehicle was repossessed due to failure on ***************** end to fulfill his contractual obligations, wether it be the balance of the down payment or the fact that the vehicle had to be repurchased due to failed monthly payments to ******************. S&S will not be issueing a refund.S&S Auto Sales, *** is well within its right to retrieve their asset.

      I am rejecting this response because: *** financial company had no knowledge and told me to contact the police department I made three payments to the financial company 11/17, 11/30 and 1/12 all of which shows I was paid. I need a refund of the amount financed and **** put into the vehicle, also i have tried to contact the sales department with no answer over 30 calls to get the items of my belongings in the vehicle with no response. Please see attached statements from the financial company.

      There is a dispute of ************* saying he spoke with ************************** and that the financial institution told him they had no knowledge of the buyback do to payments not being made according to the contract that was signed and that ************************** told him too call the police department. I myself, ******, spoke with Dealer Compliance & our Representative from ****************** all who have advised me that they are well aware of the buyback, because they are the one who forced the buyback due to failure to pay car payment on the due date of 11/2/2022. Dealer Compliance also advised that they did not tell ************* to call the police department. The Representative has advised that ************* has made payments, they were late according to ********, ************* needs to understand that this contract is legal & binding. I do not know what transpired for ************* to be late, but my question is this, were you in contact with Westlake in regards to your payment being late? If a customer makes no attempt to communicate with their lender in regards to payments, how will your lender know what is going on. With a low credit score, a lender will want all payments to be made on time and that the customer keep open communication wth them. ****************** has advised they will be sending S&S a check for the monies that were paid by *************, they will be applied to balance owing. ************* can redeem his vehicle. A NOTICE OF INTENT will be mailed to ************* for the balance in full. ************* can seek his own financing and pay vehicle off here and pay another lender. In regards to your personal property you can call ******************** @ ************. According to the contract we are within our rights to protect our asset, we will not refund any monies to *************. S&S finds no fun in repossessing vehicles just to sell them again. It is more hassle than anything.

      June 2022, I traded in my 2017 Dodge Charger and put a down payment on a 2014 Cadillac XTS. My registration was due September 2022. I have called numerous times regarding the registration and was given a bunch of different reasons why I could not get the registration. Finally, I was told that the title to my vehicle was sent by mistake to the previous owner of the vehicle, and they are refusing to send it back. I was told that I have to return my car and get another. The cars they have available are not adequate to the vehicle I have. In fact they had to jump start another car to get it to start, and the check engine light is on in the vehicle. Im not happy. I should not have to go through this and the car they are trying to have me purchase is 10k more than the my vehicle. I traded in my car, gave down payment, and have a paid my monthly note on time with extra payments. I would like to be reimbursed and be able to choose a car elsewhere.

      on December 1, the cobuyer *********************** spoke to the sales manager, **** in regards to this situation. **** has agreed to return all monies the customers have paid to ******************* We are needing a pay history from ****************** to confirm the amount needed to pay to the customers. My understanding is that S&S is trying to resolve this issue with the customers.
