Run from this unaccredited business and do not stop until you find BBB accredited alternatives to serve your flooring needs. On the basis of my 3 month client experience with the store's current manager, going by the name ****, I have determined the following assessment of this particular Rugworks retail outlet located at *****************************************************. My troubled encounter is limited to this singular stor, in a Rugworks chain of other stores available to serve flooring products and conveniently located in nearby ******** locations. Point #1: I purchased a high end carpet for my upscale condominium at the price point in excess of $100 per square foot in early October, 2023, as preparation for an annual busines marketing event in my home scheduled for the second week of November, 2023. The store's installation scheduler assured me that, because of my ample, advance notice for a November installation of my choice of carpet, no foreseeable obstacle would interfere with full and complete installation on my advance scheduling for the following month as requested. My new carpet would begin installation on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, and be fully completed within 3 days thereafter. On the basis of this personal guarantee by Rugworks employee, *****, I returned to the store on Highway 12 the following day with payment in full. What followed was the beginning of a nightmare. Days before my carpet was to be installed, ***** phoned to reschedule installation, no reason given, cutting short the time I had to move the contents of my home-based videograpy studio, to storage. On such short notice, I was forced to hire an IT firm (at a cost of an additional$800) to move the contents of my studio into storage in time for the carpet installers to begin their work. Then, half finished, the work stopped. leaving me with an unpresentable half beige, half blue floor. Had to cancel my business event, and th loss. Learn from my mistakes. Shop elsewhere.
