I brought my cat, Bandit, to this clinic for bladder surgery, trusting them with his care. However, the condition in which Bandit was discharged to me was completely unacceptable. He was suffering from internal bleeding, had not gone to the bathroom after surgery, and several crucial details from his medical records were not provided to me at the time of discharge.
Due to their complete lack of regard for my cat’s well-being and the lack of proper communication, I had to rush Bandit to another hospital for emergency surgery. Tragically, the damage caused by this clinic was too severe, and I lost my beloved pet. I’ve attempted to speak with the Vet to seek additional information, i have not received any calls back and it appears as though i’ve been blocked from calling their business.

This office seemed good at first, but after finding out I need to make an appointment every time I need to refill my dog's arthritis medication, I realized quickly money was more important than my dog's health. I took my dog in for x-rays in April of this year, I was told she had arthritis. The vet prescribed the medication needed, and my dog had huge improvement. In the last few weeks she has been limping again in the same leg which is clearly the same issue. I called to get a refill and was told too much time had passed and she needs to come in to be seen.
For non-controlled substances per California Code of Regulations, Title 16, Section 2032.1, it states that a veterinarian may not issue a prescription for a duration longer than one year from the date that the animal was last seen.
For controlled substances according to the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), prescriptions for all controlled substances (Schedules II–V) are valid for six months from the date written.
I do not believe the medication is a controlled substance, however even if it was it has been less than six months. This office is not following CCR guidelines and is trying to steal money from pet owners by requiring them to make another appointment and charging them to be seen. I paid around $800.00 for x-rays and she has been seen at this office 2-3 times.
Arthritis is a CHRONIC condition, and this was determined to be the cause of my dog's limp per the x-rays. There is no confusion on where the issue is coming from. Shame on this company for trying to scam people out of their money. Read the yelp reviews! I warn anyone to stay away from this office.
