***** this company at all costs. I trusted Pillar to Post (********* team) to conduct a thorough inspection before closing on my new home. That trust was completely misplaced.Despite their report claiming the inspection was complete, significant water damage and mold under both the kitchen and bathroom sinks were completely missed. These were not minor issueswere talking about rotted wood, warped cabinetry, and mold that required thousands of dollars in remediation. Not only was none of this called out in the report, but there was also no mention that the inspector was unable to inspect certain areas due to obstructions. That kind of disclosure would have allowed me to investigate further or delay the close. Instead, I was misled into thinking everything was fine.Even worse, the owner admitted on the phone that they couldnt see everything because there were personal items presentbut again, that was never mentioned in the report. And lets be honest: if you cant inspect an area, say so. Dont check it off as complete and leave the buyer to deal with the *************** now paying out of pocket to re-inspect the entire home to figure out what else they might have missed. Absolutely unacceptable. This experience cost me real money and created unnecessary stress. If you value transparency and professionalism, look elsewhere.

Dear ******* we’re sorry this has been so stressful. We did offer a partial refund as a goodwill gesture; we understand you chose to pursue a credit card dispute instead. For clarity, your report noted that interior access was limited by furniture and stored items, and it documented active leaks under both the kitchen and bathroom sinks with recommendations for repair. In a general home inspection, we don’t move owners’ belongings, so some defects can be concealed. It’s also standard for buyers to look for previously hidden conditions during the final walk-through once the home is vacated. We understand how frustrating unexpected repairs are and are sorry this wasn’t disclosed by the seller. We wish you all the best.
