      Hi, I received my Earth Runners sandals not too long ago and went tonight for a stroll to test them out. Turns out, I'm not quite sure about it. It seems like they are too small or the cut is not wide enough! I ordered a size 9, which is my usual size in every other pair of shoes I have. I even checked the guideline they have on their website. Yes, when I'm standing or sitting, the sandals fit. But, as soon as I start walking, it feels like my toes are going to fall off the sole. These are my first pair of barefoot sandals but I have 4 barefoot pairs of shoes from another company and I never had this issue (I have been on the barefoot train for more than 2 years now). I compared the sandals with them and the shoes are all a little longer, giving me the space I need for my big toes to really extend. Giving that these sandals are quite expensive (more expensive than some good shoes I own!) and they're pretty minimalistic (rubber sole and webbing), it is disappointing.If you a have a friend who has them, I would highly recommend trying them on first, to see if the feel is okay for you. It might just be my stride and the way I push with my toes that are not a good match with these sandals.
