Lack of transparency during install and lack of follow up with the work order that had issues. First, it was not communicated to me that during the installation of the batteries that power to the house was going to be off for 9 hours to add a new breaker box for the house. The installers (a local energy company called ***********) said a couple of hours and Swell never gave me a detailed, step by step listing of the entire installation process. I lost some items in the freezer due to them thawing out along with several items in the refrigerator. I would have had a cooler with ice ready for those items it I had known.Finally, and most important, once Permission to Operate (PTO) was received from the power company to start using the solar system it would not work. I have tried several times to contact Swell with very limited satisfaction. I have been on the phone with customer support for several hours trying different solutions with no power activation.My opinion is that Swell Energy does very poorly at job completion, once they have been paid if the job is not complete and up and producing power.
