On Thursday Jan 19th 2023 I dropped off my F-150 at 1030am at Santa Maria Ford located at 1035 E Battles Rd, Santa Maria, CA 93454. I was having my truck looked at for two new key fobs, an oil change and to see why my truck was making a certain noise. No work had been done that Thursday since the truck required a cold start to hear the noise. Friday morning they called to tell me the issue and that they would have the parts in on Monday. I ended up needing new spark plugs and a starter. Monday afternoon at 4pm they called me stating it was ready for pick up but since it was late in the day I would pick it up on Tuesday. I was unable to pick it up Tuesday so I picked up my truck on Wednesday. That Wednesday when they went to bring me my vehicle it wouldn't start. The worker who tried to drive the truck over to me said my truck wouldn't start. The second time I saw him he stated the battery was dead and there was green stuff and a liquid on the battery with jumper cables in his hand. When I looked at my paperwork they wrote they had checked my battery and my battery was at 100% perfect status. They were finally able to jump start my truck and show me there was a liquid on my battery along with green crust around it. While upset and worried I had my battery replaced right after and paid for it. Two days later I reviewed my paperwork and saw there was a 301 mileage difference from when I dropped off my truck and when I picked it up. The mileage in was 194577 and ending milage was at 194878. I was never told of my truck being taking off the lot or driven around that much. All the information on my form attached matches my truck. My biggest concern and complaint is the milage difference. I am unaware of where and what they did with my truck that would be 300 miles worth. I have added the receipts that states the mileage before and after the work had been done along with all the information I have regarding that battery.
