      On April 10th, I was involved in a vehicle accident and had my car towed to German Autobody for repairs. On April 18th, the insurance adjuster issued a $21,100 check for the repair. I contacted the body shop for an estimated time of completion, but they never responded. On May 3rd, I visited the body shop and was informed by the owner that they would start ordering parts, which never happened as the owner went on vacation after numerous attempts to contact them.On May 13th, after they disassembled the vehicle and caused additional damage to the sub-cross member, they requested a second estimate totaling $32,000. On May 15th, during a visit to the body shop, the owner assured me that the parts would arrive, and the vehicle would be finished within two weeks. However, my one-month insurance rental coverage had already expired, and the owner promised to cover the additional rental expenses.As of today, May 30th, I have made numerous calls to the body shop, but they informed me that one of the parts is on backorder and provided me with a part number. Upon contacting the local dealership, I discovered that the part was in stock and was never on backorder. Despite this, the owner, *****************, denied the information and claimed to be on the phone with the dealership trying to locate the parts, even though my vehicle has been in his shop for over 50 days.At this point, I would like to retrieve my vehicle and the insurance payment. It seems prudent to find a trustworthy body shop to complete the repairs Ill provide the estimate for repair once the investigation start Thank you for your support
