On February 16, 2024 i purchased an Epson computer printer from a local vender. On February 18 ,2024, I installed this printer onto my computer system. In doing so I was prompted to select a print driver software program highlighted. (I thought it was an Epson website when in actuality it was Outbyte). I downloaded and installed the software.
I tried to run the Outbyte software which then somehow damaged my computer requiring that I reload Windows 11 to fix. On Monday February 19, 2024, I called Outbyte and demanded a refund of my $47.62. The clerk I spoke to promised a refund to be processed immediately. I have never received this refund. On Saturday, May 18, 2024, I was charged $21.64 by Outbyte and on Wednesday May 22 I was charged a second $21.64 and an additional $32.48. I have received refunds of $21.64, $21.64 and $32.48. I am still owed my original $47.62.
On May 28, 2024, I again contacted Outbyte and was told that they could not refund my money because it was past the 30-day refund policy. These people produce an inferior product, charge a premium price , then seem to be avoiding refunds when caught in their dishonest act. I ask for your help in settling this matter.
