    $3745.00 was paid to Forward Tax to handle my tax issues with the **** Forward Tax took my money and file my taxes, Forward Tax has not responded to inquiries I'm getting from the **** Several messages was left to their **************** and no one has returned my calls. Several emails has been sent to their support email still no one has returned my calls. $3745.00 final payment of ****** was paid on 9-01-22.

    Upon further researching your complaint, we learned that several attempts were made to communicate the creation of an Installment Agreement both via phone and email during the time your case was active with Forward Tax. 

    We will resend the communication dated October 12, 2022 detailing your resolution that was sent to the same email address you indicated on your complaint. 

    While Forward Tax is no longer taking on new clients, we can help facilitate the creation of a new installment agreement through one of our trusted partner companies. Please do keep in mind that if you have not yet filed your tax returns for the 2022 tax year, you would first need to file those returns before any new resolution can be executed on your behalf.

    Unfortunately, my experience with Forward Tax Services has been far from satisfactory. I paid a total of $3745.00 for tax resolution services, expecting timely and effective assistance in dealing with the **** Regrettably, I have not received the services I was promised, and I feel compelled to bring to your attention the issues I have encountered throughout this process. First and foremost, it has come to my attention that my taxes were filed incorrectly under your guidance. Notably, standard deductions, which are essential components of any tax filing process, were not applied as they should have been. This oversight has led to inaccurate tax returns and potential financial implications that I am now left to address.
    Furthermore, I must highlight the discrepancy between the services promised and the services rendered. In our initial agreement, it was clearly outlined that Forward Tax Services would make efforts to negotiate any tax debt owed to the *** on my behalf. However, no such efforts were made, leaving me in a precarious position with unresolved tax obligations.

    I have been working with Forward Tax to try and resolve my 2015 back taxes. I paid them $1,890.00 for the service. They told me that my balance was negotiated with the *** for 2015 tax year and that my balance was at zero. They also told me I would get a letter from the *** letting me know. Forward Tax sent me a letter via email advising me of this as well. But when I noticed that my balance hadnt changed on the *** website, I reached back out to them. Forward Tax advise me to send a screenshot and they will review and get back to me. I never got a call back. Ive been trying to reach them since July and cannot get a call back. I filed my 2022 tax year and the *** took the money that I owed for 2015 out of my 2022 tax return in applied it to that balance. I feel like Forward Tax lied to me and did me a disservice and I want a full refund of the $1,890.00 that I paid them. I tried going through my bank, Chime to request a full refund since I cannot get a call back from Forward Tax. ***** denied my dispute request because they said they could not get a hold of Forward Tax. I tried explaining to Chime that they are committing fraud or have bad business practices and they still refuse to give me my money back. Which I also think this is bad business practices for Chime. Please help me get a full refund back.Thank you.

    05/31/2022 In April 2022 I contacted Optima Tax to help with my 2021 tax issue, they had Forward Tax call me. I then spoke with a guy name *************************, who mentioned to me that because my amount I owed to the *** is less than $10K, I was sent over to his company. He started having his small talks and then mentioned that in order to get my case started, I would need to send over my tax return for 2021 and all the W4s and they would do an investigation to build my case file, and it would cost me $295. I was also told that if I have gotten any letter from the *** to send it over to them. I agreed for help and signed agreement, money was taken from my account April 21st. I was told it would take about two weeks to complete the investigation. 2 weeks went by, no response, I called ******* several times and I then emailed him. Called 2 days later and said the investigation people made an error they did not include my 2021 tax papers in the file, so I would have to wait another week to finalize the investigation. I called forward tax again a week later and I was told that ******* was not longer working there he went to a different department. So I asked who is there someone else I could talk to. I was told someone else is going to take over my file. At the end of May into June, I got a phone call from an unidentified number when I answer, a woman named ***************************** said she has taken over my files from *******. She emailed me June 6 wanting to know the filed tax dated and if it was by electronic or by paper. Send her a reply that it was sent electronically. On June 6, I even send her a copy of the letter I had received from the ***. To this very day, no email, nophone call or even a confirmation email. I called the office up every week up to 6 times in the last 3 wks no answer, every time I called, I was told they could only take my message and some will get to me. I called today Aug 12 same thing. I want my money back, if not I am going to ****
