      If I could give Old Republic Home protection zero stars, I would.I purchased my home just one week ago, and within days, my **** system completely failed. I filed a claim through Old Republic thinking this was exactly what a home warranty is for. Instead, I was met with an infuriating mess of delays, finger-pointing, and ultimately, denial.Old Republic sent out a technician who allegedly told them the **** issues had to be pre-existing before the salesomething that supposedly voided my claim. However, when I contacted the technician directly, they completely denied ever saying that. In fact, they told me they specifically informed Old Republic that there was no way to determine when the damage occurred.I had a licensed contractor inspect the unit prior to purchase, and provided documentation proving the unit was in good working condition at the time of the inspection. Despite clear evidence and professional statements, Old Republic still denied my ******** is clear that Old Republic is more interested in finding excuses not to pay than in honoring the coverage they promise. If you are considering Old Republic for a home warranty, dont. Save yourself the frustration, wasted time, and financial loss. Choose a company that actually stands by its word.

      I live close to the headquarters, purchased a vacation home ~200 miles away. The washer was broken with water leaking, the drier would run for 1hr, 40min of cold air blowing, contacted Old Republic and was told You need to locate someone and pay them for inspection/repair. This was 1 of several issues, OR fails to assist! I phoned the *** was advised a manager would take my call, the agent refused to identify herself, lied and placed my call into a phone cue! This company has been 100% useless, dishonest and a waste of money!

      The customer service is terrible along with charges and repairs. I reported a malfunctioning refrigerator June 2 almost 9 weeks ago. It is still not working and the offer is we can give you 475 or we can fix it with no time linit with regards to actually have it fixed. This was after being on hold for over an hour. I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told the following morning a supervisor would contact me. No contact, no email to ask again my only choice is to wait on hold for another hour to speak with someone that holds no power to bring an acceptable solution.

      My disposal failed. I contacted OR and they had someone out promptly to replace it. I was very happy with the quality and promptness of the response apart from the actual service provider showing up after the end of the 4 hour window that they indicated. But when they arrived they did the work quickly and professionally and cleaned up the workspace very well before leaving. Submitting the claim to start the process was simple and involved a minimum of time or effort on my part.

      I reported an issue with my AC to Old Republic Home Warranty. Despite their assigned technician coming the next day and noting that several parts needed replacement, there was no further progress. Old Republic kept saying they hadnt received the technicians report even after we waited two more days. The lack of communication and urgency has been extremely frustrating. With extreme summer heat, no working AC, and no clear updates or resolution in sight, we were ultimately forced to find our own solution and replace the entire system after a full week of waiting. Very disappointed in the lack of responsiveness and support this is not the level of service we expected from a home warranty provider.
