On July 22, 2024 I started my 1st day of training at Scalp Micropigmentation Academy Owner *** V. ******. He was unprofessional and did not go through curriculum of this service. He briefly talked about how to apply the pattern of SMP on to the scalp, printed out photos of heads to practice with the chalk pencil. We did that for hours and he went off and started doing his own thing . Not present or giving us guidance. 2nd time attending class, a new student and I vented with frustration on how unorganized the training. We never received lecture, but expected us to read the whole booklet of our training without going over it with us. He would have us shadow him as he worked on a client for 3 hrs and then told us to proceed on working with our tattoo pen on Melons. We just ended up working on ****** while he worked on clients. Again not paying attention to us nor giving us a lot of guidance. He spent time taking photos of us working on our melons and pretending to be engaged, but the photos were for content for ************* Ive asked him many of times about a live model, but kept making excuses that they keep cancelling or not showing up. So the frustration of this academy kept building up since it wasnt sound as promise, which was going through lecture about the curriculum in the training booklet, the information about having your own facility to provide this service and also info about going through health inspections. He was always unprofessional and not present. Working in his own clients and leaving us to practice on our own. I decided to bring my bf so I can work on a live model. Also just checked in twice and let me be on my own . Then proceeded to certify me after I had worked on my one model that I brought in. I felt like he expedited my training to move on to the next student and to get rid of me . I learned most of the things on my own and I felt ripped of and scammed . He doesnt care about me and I am not the only student that felt the same way.

    To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing in response to the complaint submitted regarding my training program at SMPCA Academy.

At SMPCA Academy, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality, comprehensive scalp micropigmentation (***) training. The program includes detailed instruction, hands-on practice, and ongoing support to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the *** industry.

The student in question fully participated in the program and was taught the technical skills necessary to perform *** effectively. While we are committed to helping our students achieve success, factors such as client acquisition and building a customer base are influenced by individual efforts, external market conditions, and business strategies, which are beyond the scope of our training program.

Refund requests for services that have already been rendered, especially for a program requiring significant time, resources, and instruction, are not aligned with our policies. Our trainers dedicate their time and expertise to ensure every student is adequately prepared to enter the field.

That said, I remain committed to supporting this student in their professional journey and have offered additional guidance to assist with client outreach and business development.

I respectfully request that this response be considered as my formal defense, and I am happy to provide any additional documentation or information if required.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

    Sincerely,
    *** V. ******
    CEO, SMPCA Academy

I have sent a certified letter and texted back and forth about the unsatisfactory I have with his program and his unprofessionalism. There was very little guidance , almost no lecture , it took weeks to provide a live model so it required me to drive to his Academy multiple times to be disappointed with no live models . And just a lack of respect with no communication from ***. I kept feeling like he was lying and pretending he had someone lined up for me to get there and receive no response for his so called love model for me. This took time from my schedule and money for gas. The uncertainty that I can manipulate Scalp Micropigmentation on my own because of the lack of education from ***. This is not an academy that is ready to charge a large amount of money . He just took my money and gave me no compensation for his educational program. I am dissatisfied and want at least half the money I spent on this false advertised program.
