    BUYER BEWARE: You can't trust this company. Poor customer service, high turnover and 3rd rate work. I discovered HVAC Gurus failed to pull my permits almost 2 months after they were paid when a neighbor filed a building complaint. Not the best way to learn your contractor was taking shortcuts to save money! HVAC Gurus only pulled a plumbing permit despite a good deal of electrical work which FAILED inspection twice. They pulled the electrical permit about 3 months after the work was completed and ended up charging me $650 to install a GFI outlet next to equipment installed outside. They told me they were not aware this was required. I only paid them to fix this, to try to close out the complaint. I should have withheld 2K until all the work passed inspection. To make matters worse, the electrical work they did from my breaker panel also FAILED inspection because they used incorrectly colored wires and installed flexible conduit lines when code requires the power lines are protected using electrical pipes. I'm pretty sure this is a common requirement. They left me high and dry despite multiple calls. In the end, I had to hire an electrician to fix their cREMOVEDI would NEVER do business with this company again. The best take-away for any job like this is DO NOT PAY I FULL UNTIL THE REMOVEDPASSES INSPECTION because companies like HVAC Gurus will drop the ball once they have your money.

    Extremely disappointed with HVAC Gurus. I had two Carrier units installed in 2024 and both started leaking within a few months. Instead of properly fixing the issue, their team simply recharged the system. It leaked again within the year because the refrigerant pipes were never repaired and had been leaking from the beginning. When the system failed again, HVAC Gurus refused to take responsibility. I ended up having to pay out of pocket to get the system properly diagnosed and repaired by another company. To make matters worse, they had previously admitted in writing that the original install team was incompetent and had already been fired. Poor workmanship, no accountability, and unacceptable customer service. Avoid at all costs.
