I ordered a pair of headphones through this site October 17th. It appears that they have been "shipped" but for the past 7 days, the order hasn't moved on the tracking site. I found this very unusual and feel uncomfortable even buying through this site now. Just today I checked the reliability of the site through "BBB" and you guys rated this site a F. I did not know of this "fact check" until today. Not only the quality of the products I purchased from Taotronics is very poor, the company fails to refund my money. I have sent everything back ( paid for the shipping) according to the **** tracking number they have received the package on 02/29/2024. Since that time, I called Taotronics twice asking for a refund. Their promises to speed up with the refund are still not fulfilled. Understanding that Taotronics plays with time, I went to my bank to dispute the transaction. I would like to warn other people about this company.Business Response

They are not upholding their return policy. I believe they are trying to wait to outside of the 30 day policy return deadline. I have provided them the information they requested such as order number, my name, and date of purchase. Per Taotronics' email on 02/06/24, Taotronics had a supposed irreparable glitch on their servers, as acknowledged by their technical support department.Due to this technical problem which Taotronics left unresolved, certain router models can no longer be accessed by their owners. Taotronics is liable for abandoning and not fixing their technical problem. With BBB's assistance, I, therefore, request that Taotronics unlocks the router for me or sends me a replacement router.Initial Complaint

I purchased the TaoTronics Massage Gun TT-PCA004 on 1/2/204 fro the TaoTronics Website and paid $42.50 for the item. Upon receiving the item on 1/8/24 i notice that it came without a case and it sounded defective. I sent an email to the company informing them of the situation and they asked for it to be fully charged and to send them photos. Once it was fully charged it seemed to work but then I noticed it sounded weird. After several emails back and forth I asked not only about the charger for the item but also for the case and it was avoided. In one email response after 2 emails back and forth, they said the charger was no longer available and I would have to purchase a charger on my own.I replied asking about the case and still it no response. I also sent them another email saying the item was now making a strange noise and they asked for images again and a video. I sent the images and tried to send a 10 second video but because the file size is too large it will not allow me to send the video.I asked the copany for a refund and a return shipping label and no response. I have purchased other items in the past 2 years and have never gone through this with this company so I am not sure why I am going through this now. They have always provided the chargers and original branded box with case but for some reason this item did not come with any of those things and is now not working. As the package of this product, we told the customer that we canceled the original color box packaging a long time ago and switched to the current simple carton packaging from the perspective of environmental protection.

Date of Purchase: October 5, 2020 Description of the Problem:I am filing this complaint against Taotronics due to issues with a router I purchased in 2020. My concerns are twofold:Premature Discontinuation of Software Support: Shortly after the purchase,Taotronics ceased providing software updates for this model. This lack of support has led to functionality and security concerns, rendering the router increasingly unusable and vulnerable. The cessation of software support for a product only a few years old is both unreasonable and unacceptable.Inadequate Response and Resolution Offer: Upon contacting Taotronics for a solution, their response was unsatisfactory. They acknowledged the problem but informed me that the device is out of warranty and therefore ineligible for a refund. Instead, they offered a 15% discount on future purchases. This response is inadequate, as it does not address the fundamental issue of the product's reduced lifespan and forces me, as the consumer, to bear the cost of their decision to discontinue support.Impact of the Problem:The early discontinuation of support for this router not only affects its functionality but also poses significant security risks. Per Taotronics' email on 11-26-2023, Taotronics had a supposed irreparable glitch on their servers, as acknowledged by their technical support department (copy of email attached). Due to this technical problem which Taotronics left unresolved, certain router models can no longer be accessed by their owners. Taotronics is liable for abandoning and not fixing their technical problem. At no point did the customer damage his router. It is like a car with a manufacturer's defective part that is recalled, the auto-maker assumes responsibility and replaces the defective part at no cost the owner. With BBB's assistance, I, therefore, request that Taotronics sends me a replacement router.
