I signed up for a trial with this company and sent an email after less than 48 hours. I reviewed what was being charged ****** felt it wasnt appropriate for me and that the price was not something I was willing to pay for information that was poor to say best. I have been trying to contact them to cancel this. I keep getting a standard response saying were really sorry we know you must be with a link and this is how you go about canceling. However, in order to cancel you need a code which no one has sent me. And without it it is impossible to cancel. This is nothing but a scam I was charged $100 which was for something that I cancelled in the first 48 hours . Other than the email address, theres absolutely no way to contact the company. No one from the company will contact me even though I have requestedit many times in my emails to them after 14 or more emails. Im in the exact same place I was when I started unable to cancel unable to get a refund unable to speak to anyone or even get an email from a person not a bot that says Im sorry you be frustrated Steps to Cancel Your Subscription:1. Go to this page: *************************************************************************************** 2. Enter the email address you used when signing up for MediEats.3. In April 2025 I made a one-time purchases of the Medieats workout plan and a menu plan. Two days ago they tried to charge my credit card a 'renewal fee' of almost $70.00. The charge was declined by my credit card company. I contacted Medieats via email on 6.19.25 (because there are no phone numbers) to tell them I didn't sign up for automatic renewals and didn't want one. They sent me directions on how to cancel my 'subscription', which I purchased initially believing it was a one time purchase. Today, I followed their directions to cancel any and all association I have with them, (just one day later) and then received a receipt from Medieats stating that they had run the $69.90 through on my card. I contacted Medieats again, and they said that they cannot refund an automatic renewal per their policy. This is a total ripoff. Now, because I have cancelled my so-called subscription, I am paying $69.90 for materials that I do not even have access to. I am not stupid and I know that people/companies can override automatic charges or payments. I am reporting all of this so that other people can be warned. All I wanted was my refund.Initial Complaint

I bought something from them about eight months ago. I just got a fraud notice from my bank that they tried to charge 69$ and $1 and 0 $. I never agreed to this. A renewal charge was not on the advertisement and it certainly was not $69. After I paid the first time, I read the reviews and read that this happened to other people. Now they have tried to do it to me. I lost the ability to use my credit card and I am not in the *** at present. Why is MediEats not shut down or jailed for these type of stealing?Initial Complaint

I didn't agree to any recurring charges. They fraudulently charged my credit card 2 months of a subscription that I didn't agree to. I asked fora refund. They denied. I have also filed a complaint with the ***. If you do a simple ****** search on this company, you can see they need to be stopped. They are taking advantage of people's desire to eat healthy and lose weight and secretly scamming them. I want a full refund.Initial Complaint

I subscribed for one month with on the 10th of August with cancellation date of one month later. It was an auto pay deduction taken on my account on the 10th of September (attached) which I had requested cancellation. They stated that I was 1 day late......however this is a timing issue that they won't accept my cancellation because it was a mere 24 hours later. **************** is not understanding my issues and refuse to talk about a compromise.Initial Complaint

I purchased a one-time Meal and Exercise Plan for $89 in July. They charged my Credit Card for a second $89 in September. I did not purchase an automatic renewal subscription, just a one-time meal plan. MediEats will not refund the second $89 charge. I emailed their ****************** requesting a refund of this unauthorized charge and their reply stated they do not refund Auto-Renewals. I did not sign up for Auto-Renewals, just the one-time purchase. Based on reading reviews today on many websites, this is a common occurrence by this company. I want my $89 refunded to my Credit Card as I did not sign up for auto-renewals and I do not like being mislead or cheated. I attached the only email I received as confirmation of my purchase and nothing indicates that this is a recurring fee. They do not have a telephone number, everything is through emails. Do not use this Company.Initial Complaint

I contacted the company days after purchase when I realized it would not work for me or my family and their site stated it would do a 100% refund if not satisfied. However, they ignore requests to cancel, so I have been charged for months and months of their service which I have never once used. I wish a full refund of all charges (4 x $69 bi-monthly) and to cancel any further charges.Initial Complaint

Name of Company; Medieats Dates and Amounts: 6/25/24 ***** and 7/9/24 ***** On or around 6/22/24 an advertisement popped up while I was on my IPad. I watched and decided to join the Medieats program. I proceeded to pay the initial ***** and the transaction was denied due to suspected fraud. I decided that was a sign that it was an impulse buy anyway. My card was locked until I could contact my bank and verify previous transactions. My bank named off about four recent transactions and I verified them, that ***** was not included. That was on Monday and on Tuesday the Medieats transaction appeared I began to try to find a contact number. I really wanted to speak with a customer service person and not a recording or via email , but I couldnt find a direct number so I ended up emailing. I requested a refund and cancellation. Then on 7/9/24 my account was debited another *****. Let me note in that time and to date I havent received any product or information of any kind from this company. As of this past Monday was our last correspondence and I was informed that they had canceled this plan, but cannot give refunds. I then asked if they could explain what I had paid for. I have not gotten a response yet. I let them know I would be contacting the BBB.Thank you ************************* rtmiller441@ gmail.comInitial Complaint

On May 15, 2924 I purchased a 60 day membership with Medieats for $69. I opted for this rather than the ongoing monthly plan as it appeared to be simply a limited time period not a long term commitment. On July 14, exactly 60 days from my original date of purchase, Medieats charged my credit card an additional $69. On that same date, I also received an email from my bank alerting me to a fraudulent transaction on my account. The flagged transaction was the charge from Medieats. My bank subsequently closed my account and cancelled my card. I then reached out to Medieats and was told that all of their subscriptions auto renew unless cancelation was made a few days before the renewal date. I was also told that I am responsible for this charge despite my desire to cancel and the cancellation would not go into effect for another 60 days. I went thru my emails from Medieats and see nothing that advises that my purchase was an auto renewal plan. If my bank is not successful with disputing the charge and recovering my $69 then I want a refund.
