      Booked a room in October. Expressly stated I needed two beds. Was assured repeatedly that I booked a room with two beds. I show up today, one FULL size bed on the room for me and my friend to share. Tried to book another room. None. Second room for my friend? None. My husband booked us at the ********. I want the money I spent on Hotwire back. I spent 1400 on a room with two queens. You cant say its no refunds and then mess up the reservation and not give me back my money. So I get a refund or we go to court.

      I ****************** is running a scam by charging very low prices Pay now prices on car rentals and not revealing that the car rental companies will charge extra for car insurance coverage when I already have coverage through my car insurance company and my credit card. I reserved a car from hotwire on December 1, 2024 for the amount of the $87.91 for a rental from NU car rentals. When I went to pick up the car on December 3 the rental car company wanted to charge me an extra $59 per day for their car insurance rental coverage of $1 million. They did not want to honor my full coverage insurance company or my credit card insurance company I therefore had to decline the rental and I called hotwire and they did not want to reimburse me the $87.91. I believe both hot wire and NU car rentals are running a scam. Both of these companies do not deserve a rating.

      I am extremely disappointed with Hotwire for providing inaccurate information in my online itinerary. Despite booking our flight months in advance, the "My Trips" section displayed the incorrect departure date, stating our flight left today when in reality it departed yesterday. I relied on Hotwire's platform to keep track of our travel plans, and this error caused us to miss our flight entirely. As a result, my children and I are now missing Christmas with our family, and they are heartbroken that we won't be there to celebrate with them. This is unacceptable and has resulted in significant stress, financial loss, and disruption to our travel plans, not to mention the emotional distress of missing this important time with loved ones. Hotwire's lack of attention to detail and failure to provide accurate information is deeply concerning, and I urge others to be wary when relying on their services.

      I have used hotwire for many years and i must inform everyone that there hotels have really hit bottom..if u look at the listing u might possible not get one of the hotels listed but rather a dump of a place..after many years I am done using them..the quality is of the past..just a warning to all. Be prepared

      I travelled 10 hours to get to the ***************** in **. I made my booking through Hotwire. According to their ad, Hotwite compared the ******* Inn to a 3-star ************* equivalent. I understand that it's only a comparison. But this hotel is old with musky ***** and under construction with construction dust, as you can see from the pictures. The ceiling had yellow stains with watermarks all over it. The carpet is ripped. If not careful, you could trip and fall. The hotel is old dingy, dirtyand damaged. There is a gas leak we smell . I don't know whether I should call the health department about them or report to the police? My light in the room didn't work in the hallway. I have notified the hotel about the hotel's conditions and smell. I called the Hotwire customer service. I spoke to the manager of customer services, ******* *.. at **********************. Absolute c*** Hotwire told me they could move me to another hotel and would only cover the $75 cost. I have six rooms booked at the *******. If I were to move to another hotel, if it cost me 400 more, they would only pay $75 for the whole booking cost. It's 12. Am now. I am not in the hotel and stuck in traffic. How am I Suppose to have returned to the hotel to check out and move to another hotel?I have no choice but to accept their compensation of $240 credit to the Hotwire account and use it later. Is this even compensation? After this, can I trust Hotwire again? I have been a client for over 20 years. DISAPPOINTING. I asked them to reimburse me back to the original payment so that I could repay my group. Now, with the credit I have to take my money out of my pocket to compensation for my group then use this $240 hotwire credit for myself? Hotwire is owned by *******? Oh my gosh, what a shame. Pl do not use this website HOTWIRE if you don't want to be cheated. .

      I booked a Condo in ******, *******. In a couple hours, a Condo representative contacted me and told me they received the booking from Hotwire but they had no rooms available. I tried to contact Hotwire but was told 3 days later they couldn't get in touch with the Condo representative, so their "no refund" policy applied. I haven't found another contact for Hotwire and the customer service representatives claims not to know who to contact. They claim they don't even know who the CEO is and that's impossible to find. I have not received a refund and it's been over a year.

      Yesterday morning, 10:30 I booked a car in ****** from July 3 to 9. It appeared the transaction was successful, but I never received an email nor did the trip show up in my Hotwire account under my trips.Yesterday at noon, I tried again. Also appeared to be successful, but didnt receive an email nor did it show up in my trips.I chatted with Support and they said I had two reservations, for the same car on the same dates at the same location, and told me I was responsible for both charges to my credit cards.Neither trip appears on my account under my trips. I have contacted my credit card companies and will of course be disputing one of the charges.The appropriate thing to have do was to cancel one of these reservations I cannot believe a longtime customer would be treated like this.

      Booked a hotel with a pool last September. Upon arrival the hotel had gotten rid of their pool 4 years prior. So I was issued a credit. I figured I would book through hotwire.com again to use my credit. When entering payment info I applied my credit, my balance was showed with the credit being taken off. After getting my confirmation the credit was never taken off. I called to get it fix but wasn't helped at all. I was offered to cancel and rebook with a $20 loss. Terrible!! No wonder they give out credits...you can't use them.will NEVER book through hotwire again.

      Hotwire is a term that means theft and it is appropriate for this company. First they created a bogus ****** result when I was trying to find customer service for a car hire company and booked me with another company, so they stole business from my chosen company. Then they told me they had arranged with a car rental company that I could use a digital drivers license. I couldnt, so I was unable to pick up the car, was stranded at a small airport and had to use three other means of transport to get where I was going, so they stole from me too, both money paid for a car and the 2 hours extra time this took. When I tried to call the number *********************** gave me to call if I had any problems, the number rang out. Scammers!

      Whats sad is that there is no one willing to try and help! I booked a car since I was traveling for work and the issues I had to deal with! So first I book and choose the debit option. I know that most major retailers take credit cards, but because I choose debit I really didnt worry about it, until I got to the enterprise location. I was told any out of state customers are required to have a major credit card to the deposit. First when booking the enterprise car no where on there did it state that out of state individuals needed to bring a major credit card to get the car (since I picked debit) two I spent 80 dollars to go to the location to be told I needed to spend another 80 to go back and get my CC then to spend another 80 to go pick the car up on top of that spend 300 on a deposit while also paying 400 bucks to get the car? No one was willing to help! This is a class action lawsuit in my opinion since it wasnt on their website. No money reimbursed and no help! Please stay away because they wont help!
