Never book from them! If it's too good to be true, don't do it. They had a really cheap room rate on their website for this four-star hotel that I know. So I decided to book with them which I agree to my mistake because I should have read the reviews first before booking with them. The room rate was about $250 per night plus tax which I paid a total of $306.07. before booking they had shown me a balance due at the hotel of $47.18. I was like this is a good deal so I booked. Come to find out a week later my sister-in-law read reviews that this company are scammers because they inaccurately didn't provide other fees and didn't actually book their reservation. They would check in but the hotel couldn't find their reservation so it's either they lost their money, etc. so I took it upon myself to call the hotel directly and confirm my reservation and confirm the balance due which I was told only $47.18. this also shows on my confirmation email. I called the hotel and they confirmed my reservation which was good, but there were actually other fees besides the $47.18. there was a total of over $500 in fees that I have to pay upon check-in or check out. I was furious if I had known there were extra fees let alone over $500. I wouldn't have booked with hotels in America. Never again. If there is a huge discount price and it's from a company that is not common, it's too good to be true. ****** learned. Read reviews before booking anything or just don't book at all.

Unbelievable scam company. I was unable to stay at the hotel I booked at because they were hit by Hurricane ****** and didn't have power. They approved my cancellation and refund but told me that Hotels in America have the money. Now I'm being told a month later by ******** at Hotels in America that their "travel partners" are not approving the refund. It's not their fault! It's the travel partners fault. I've decided to dispute the transaction through my credit card company and really hoping I can get my 1k back. How do they show up on ****** hotels?

If your reading this your most likely a victim like all of the rest of us. Its clear not one person has something good to ****** situation seemed very unheard of and unjust, but this is just another normal day to this company. The hotel agreed to refund my reservation to this booking service, but the disgraceful website is refusing to release the funds to me, which is fraudulent and illegal. My complaint will make it to the division of consumer affairs, and yours should too. It will only take a few of us before action is taken and justice is served.

I would leave a zero star review, but am forced to leave a 1 star review. I paid $2.5k upfront for a hotel reservation in *** through Hotels in America. I arrived at midnight at the hotel and they told me they didn't have a reservation for me. Apparently they emailed Hotels in America immediately after I booked the reservation saying the 'flash sale price' wouldn't be honored. They showed me the emails confirming this. Hotels in America customer service was TERRIBLE. They couldn't help me. Said I couldn't speak to anyone else and they kept saying they needed to look into things and call me back. I ended up booking a last minute separate reservation in *** (insanely expensive) and on top of all that after 6 weeks I'm still calling every day asking for a refund and they haven't given me my $2.5k back. NEVER BOOK WITH THIS SCAM SITE.

Beware of using this company. The refund policy is not clear when you first book it and then you are stuck with what they say. We had bad weather and couldn't get to our hotel and no refund could be offered. We could not have predicted the weather on the last date we could get a refund. Hotels also don't like dealing with them. Run away from this company!

This company will change the dates of your reservation while you are booking and not let you make edits or provide refunds. Book with another site to avoid any misleading information. Their customer service is also not helpful. Surprised this site shows up on ****** hotels

The hotel recieved the money and we weren't overcharged, as I see many were, but the description of the room and amenities were Not Accurate and that was the reason for booking the room!

Booked with them a business stay for one night. The hotel put us in a room next to a large party all night. No sleep. The hotel would not move us and Hotels in America would not do anything about it.

1.We booked hotel through hotel in America .com 2 hotel offered a one night refund back to Expedia 3 we realized, that hotel in America is the // third party /agency of ******* 4 had talk to Expedia for 5 times , accumulates over 3 hours . And one agent called hotels and got oral refund approval. Finally Answer is, client booked from thirty party , they cant do any thing . 5 . Talked to hotel in America more then 10 calls accurateld more then 5 hours , one agent talked to hotels and got oral refund approval from hotel .The result is hotel in America sent client a email and as client to get hotels documentation in next two days . For many time . Hotel sent final receipt -> client ->client email back to hotel in America . Hotel American sent documentation to client again again and again !Finally we spoken with chart GTP paid version . Answer as follow . This outlined refund process appears to be a typical strategy used by **Hotels in America** or its partners to handle cancellation and refund requests. While it seems like they are offering to help customers, in reality, it adds complexity and fees that might delay or reduce the chances of a successful refund. Heres a breakdown of how this process may be used to **delay the refund** or **shift responsibility**, as well as strategies to respond:### 1. **Shifting Responsibility to the Hotel*### 2. **Refund is Not Guaranteed**### 3. **Charging a Fee for a Successful Refund**### 4. **Complex Documentation Requirements**### 5. **Delays and ************************ 6. **Multiple Communication Steps**

They deserve a -10 for customer service and support. I wanted to switch weekends for a trip and it would have been more money to change. They said NO! Very unflexible! Refund Policy pops up after paying.
