I enrolled in Strava to try a free month of service which still required a credit card entry. Prior to the end of the service I cancelled the subscription. Several months later I noticed I had been charged each month, for several months, on my credit card for a Strava subscription. I went online and could see that the system showed my account as having an active subscription and being charged. This was in October of 2023. I then reached out to support for assistance in having my account cancelled. ******************** support provided me instructions saying I would need to clear the cookies in my browser to resolve the issue. I followed the instructions, cancelled my subscription, and removed my credit card. This month, March of 2024, I noticed again that Strava had continued to charge my account. I went back into their web site to cancel my subscription, again removed my credit card information, and took a picture of the screen showing my account subscription as not active and no credit card associated. Strava does not send email, or any other type of notification, that a member is being charged. They also do not send notification when a subscription is being cancelled. Both notifications of monthly charges, and cancellations, are common business practices for online vendors. I am requesting a full refund for all money charged as I have never used the subscription services. I also would like an explanation how subscription services are being re-started once cancelled and how credit card information is being retained in their system when removed by a subscriber.

They charged me a 80 dollars and I didn't know why and I had no way to contact customer service and find out what it was for. I closed my account for fear of more charges. I tried to fight the fee but they made my bank rescind the credit provision. There is no way to dispute charges without signing back in and creating an account and then you will probably be charged for services you didnt sign up for. I've heard many other complaints like this. I don't think 80 dollars is the amount of any of their subscriptions so I still don't know where it came from and can't get it back.
