    I got a response from CashApp about my complaint, but it was not helpful at all. It said in the BBB portal I have 5 days to let BBB know if that was satisfactory. It was not, I want my complaint escalated and investigated. I want my tax refund. ******* is not providing any help to tell me where they sent my Ohio Tax refund. They put in the info on where to send it, but I never got it even though the state sent it out a month ago. CashApp stole my money and no one can give me answers.

    I FILED MY TAXES WITH CASH APP ON 2/20/2025 AND I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THEM. I THEN RECEIVED A LETTER A FEW WEEKS LATER STATING I NEEDED TO VERIFY MY IDENTITY. I VERIFIED ONCE I RECEIVED THE LETTER IN THE MAIL, BUT 2 MORE WEEKS PASSED SO I CALLED AND WAS TOLD THEY DIDN'T SEE WHERE I VERIFIED ON MARCH 3. NOW MY TAXES ARE UNDER REVIEW AND I HAVE A CODE 570 ON MY TRANSCRIPTS. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE AND I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD HAVE FILED WITH TURBO TAX LIKE THE PREVIOUS YEAR.

    I am rejecting this response because: False advertising.  Also they claim they didn't make changes but I'm submitting proof that they were working on making changes to calculations in the same time period when this error occurred (since I had captured another error on video luckily).

    The video I just uploaded is in animated GIF format so you have to load it in a browser to view.  You'll see that the property depreciation calculated changed without me changing any values of anything in the form.... This miscalculation will affect countless tax returns that were submitted before this bug was discovered.

    Since I discovered the bugs I mentioned, I changed platforms which means I wasted about 9 hours on the CA Taxes site preparing a return with their faulty software.  But the others who didn't spot this issue are the real victims.  They shouldn't claim a guarantee of accuracy with these negligent practices.  This would have been very easy to avoid with careful regression testing of their backend calculations.

    I am rejecting this response because: Of course my own return was not impacted because as I stated I ended up using another platform to submit my return and deleted all the tax data in my Cash App account.  But countless others who submitted their returns were impacted.  And simply stating that you will look at it more with your product team isn't a plan for resolution of this issue.  Until it's clear that you aren't incorrectly calculated people's taxes, I think you should take down the false advertisement.

    My money was accidentally deposited to a credit karma Ive been trying for over a week to get my money transferred into my checking account. They keep giving me the runaround that I have to do it online. *** tried several attempts to do it online. It keeps rejecting me no matter what I do and they refuse to put me in contact with a person to talk on the phone to resolve this problem, they keep telling me I have to do it online. I like to get my money transferred as soon as possible. I really could use it right now when I finally did get onto line they keep telling me my checking account is invalid and I know its still good.

    I've been asking for this to be clarified for a month now and no one can tell me anything and when I asked for a supervisor I would not get one and even when I asked for someone of American decent so I can get a full understanding they tell me no. I'm not understanding why does it take a month to rectify there mistake and it's just transferring the money from one account to the closed one

    I used cashapp to file my 2021 and 2022 taxes. I filed the taxes on time, or at least I thought. I checked on my filing to find that cashapp did not file them. I reached out to customer service and they redirected my call by saying they will send me a link to speak to someone in the tax center. (*****************************************************) I click the link and speak with an agent (*****). He let me know that my 2021 and 2022 tax applications were rejected because I didnt submit a form (2021) and there was an incorrect AGI (2022). I ask him if he can send me confirmation that cashapp notified me that my applications were rejected and how we can fix that and he said he is not sure how to get that information, then sent me a link to IRS saying I can file my back taxes there. I asked to speak with a supervisor because I didnt understand how cashapp has a tax service but their agents are not prepared to answer questions about errors that cashapp made. He ended the chat mid conversation. I have the screenshot of the encounter, I wasnt rude or anything. I then spoke to another agent, ********. He said he had to transfer our conversation through email and he never responded. I merely want confirmation that I was notified about my tax application being rejected - as I want proof that I did my due diligence to file my taxes in time however cashapp failed to notify me, and their agents fail to continue a conversation until an issue is resolved. I also do not want a penalty for not filing in time when I thought cashapp did file the taxes.

    I recognize that you asked to have your case escalated to a supervisor when you first reached out, and in which you were not put in contact with our escalation team. We apologize for falling short on getting you the quick service we strive to give to all our customers. We have since coached the advocate to ensure they take proper steps in the future to address escalated cases accurately.

    After reviewing your cases, I do see that you were trying to get information as to why your 2021 and 2022 returns were not submitted. For the 2021 tax year, you submitted your return on 04/13/22 and it was rejected the same day because the *** indicated that their records show that you purchased healthcare through a marketplace during the tax year, but you didn't report it on your tax return. An email was sent on 04/13/2022 alerting you that you would need to add the appropriate information requested by the *** and re-submit your return.

    For the 2022 tax year, you submitted your return on 04/17/23 and it was rejected the same day due to the wrong AGI or Self-Select PIN that you entered during the e-file process. We followed up with an email on 04/17/23 to inform you of this rejection and the appropriate steps needed to correct the entries and re-file your return.
