    On August 2, 2022, I contacted attorney *********** regarding outstanding tax debt. I was told that an investigation, which included getting any and All documentation/reports pertaining to my situation would be collected by the *** and California FTB for a full review. The remaining balance would then be credited to services. I sent the documentation to assist with this investigation. I spoke with Mr. ******** who had Not done a full investigation yet, nor was he updated in the *** or FTB system. I spoke with Mr. ******* for 57 minutes on August 5, 2022, and learned he didnt do much investigating at all. At the end of the conversation, I determined that I would not need his services. I feel as though I was scammed to give up $800, which is a large sum amount for just advice. I contacted Mr. ******* via email requesting a partial refund, and receive a response that no refund would be given. Mr. ******* committed to do a full investigation, which included speaking with the California FTB, for this amount of money. He also committed to coming up with a mutual plan to resolve this issue. Mr. ******* did Not do these things. I called the California FTB, and the hold that he is referring to in the email is because I told him I got the hold. The lies that are expressed in his August 16, 2022 email response, further lets me know that he is a scam.
