      To anyone whos trying to see if getting solar through this company, dont. I have been given nothing but lies. It starts from the salesmen. REMOVEDcame to my house many times if not daily to try to convince me to sign for these panels. I have screenshots of promises not being met and a lot of lies. He was never clear with me with anything and thats a tactic they use to get you to sign. They give you a nice pretty lie to destroy your stability. I was promised a light bill replacement. It seemed too good to be true but he insisted. I shouldve trusted my gut. All these panels did is add onto my light bill. Instead of paying $100 to $130 a month for the light bill I pay $100 AND $140 for the panels. Im losing money here. They just use your house to rain you of your money. I was promised a discount for being active duty and surprise surprise they didnt give me anything. If you need help after the installation good luck finding help because REMOVED( the salesman) ghosted me and ignored me. This is a terrible company with terrible service. Do not I repeat DO NOT go with this company.

      I have an ongoing leak in my roof, confirmed by Sunrun as caused by the installation of the solar panels. They refuse to correct this in a permanent manner, as it continues to leak when it rains. They also refuse to repair the mold issue that has now developed on the attic trusses, insulation, and ceiling drywall. They are difficult to get ahold of and take weeks to respond. This problem is clearly not a concern for them. Their customer service is poor. It has been 5 months now with no resolution.

      Sunrun/REMOVEDcame to my home and told me so many lies to get me to sign a contract with them. They promised so many things including I would receive money from the government to help pay for the panels and my electric bill would be down. I thought it would be a good idea but it was not. They have hidden fees that is not told and I ended up with a contract triple my salary. Nothing they promised was true. I feel this was a fraudulent purchase and others should not get in contract with this company.

      Our home received a brand-new roof shortly before Sunrun installed solar panels in 2020. Recently, we developed a roof leak and hired a licensed roofer to conduct a full inspection.During the inspection, we were informed that Sunruns installation crew drilled mounting holes in incorrect locations. According to the roofer, several penetrations were not properly sealed or flashed. Instead of correctly patching or replacing shingles where holes were drilled, some penetrations were left with exposed nail heads and inadequate sealing.Additionally, the roofer noted that shingles were not properly removed and reinstalled around the solar mounting bases. Instead, shingles appear to have been tucked around the mounts. This can allow water to shed down the panels and become trapped at those transition points, increasing the risk of leaks.On top of the penetration issues, the installation crew stepped on and damaged multiple roof vent caps during installation. Every vent cap on that section of the roof shows damage consistent with foot traffic.We contacted Sunrun and they sent a representative to inspect the roof approximately one month ago. Since that inspection, we have received no updates, no proposed resolution, and no communication regarding next steps.When I recently called customer service expressing concern about the lack of response and the fact that storms were approaching that could lead to a leak, the representative told me to call 911. This response was dismissive and inappropriate given that we are dealing with potential property damage related to their installation.This roof was new at the time of installation, and we are now facing repair work that appears directly related to the solar install. We expect Sunrun to take responsibility for correcting the installation-related roof damage and to provide a clear plan and timeline for resolution.

      This company was a pain from the beginning. My service was started some time in April of 2023. I paid my first payment. Then the next month I had the same REMOVEDwith sunrun, but then comed came in as well around 200 and something dollars. I had paid them both and then went back and forth with sunrun and comed of who should be responsible for me just paying triple. Neither of them complied so I spent about 400 in 2 payments one to sunrun and one to comed for months. Never was remeburised or was never given anything complimentary for the issue. I then left it alone. Then out of no where sunrun starts emailing me and calling saying that a power grid was out. I said okay what happens now. She proceeded to tell me I needed to pay $1,500 for them to fix the power grid. They gave me a run around for 8 months because I told them I wasnt going to pay $1,500 for them to replace a grid when I didnt think there was anything wrong. I then told them im not paying for the grid to be fixed and until you can tell me exactly what is going on and that Im not paying my monthly bill until its fixed. This went on for about 8 months. I was emailing constantly, i didnt receive responses for awhile i asked for a manager and finally one responded. He looked into the solar panels and told me the whole time there was nothing wrong with the planels and the grid was fine. But i told them until they figured it out i wasnt paying my bill. So after the manager said everything was fine i said so how will i be compensated now because obviously the payments are behind. With the bill being around 900 at the time all they did was credit REMOVEDto pay the rest. After they credited I told them it was ridiculous and this should of never happened. I said I was done and for them to come and remove the panels from my roof never spoke to them sense. Now I receive a letter in the mail of them saying they are disconnecting the panels or I need to pay the outstanding balance of REMOVEDsomething

      My Powerwall 3 has partial solar production. In Tesla One, I can see that one specific DC string/MPPT is showing 0W while others are normal. The weather is sunny. It seems like a potential MCI failure or String open circuit. It happened last year May, after few weeks they send person fix the problem, but it happens again right now

      Fast and neat installation process only took two days Waiting for utility provider was the longest part of the process.The whole house backup battery system works awesome during utility outages.Sales staff was awesome and upfront with all the details prior to purchase.

      I can not rate this company lower than a 1 star. They are lacking in customer service to the frustration level requiring hiring an attorney. They turned off my panels 2/2/24 due to production failure and I have been without solar power since that time. They do not communicate effectively with their customers. I had a REMOVEDsent to me because "I requested to have the panels removed to fix my roof". Never was able to talk to anyone concerning that DOCUSIGN. The list of issues with delays and missed promises is too lengthy to include here. Anyone considering SUNRUN should be ready for nothing but frustration. There are other much better companies to deal with. Even the CEO REMOVEDdid not respond to my email concerning the situation. That demonstrates the level of lack of respect for their customers.

      Let me first say that I've never had any issues with Sunrun's actual service. My problem with the company comes from their deceptive practices. I've been a customer with them for over a year now. Before I signed up with them, I was told by their salesman that if I enrolled in autopay, I would receive a small monthly discount. 14 months later, and I've literally never received the discount without calling into their customer service line and complaining about it, and even then the discount is only received in the form a credit to my account vs actual money being returned to my checking account. I've been given all sorts of excuses as to why the discount hasn't been applied, but there's been zero resolution there. Also recently, I noticed that my bill had gone up slightly. When I spoke to a customer service agent about the matter, I was told that it was because of a "cost of electricity" adjustment. Excuse me, but I thought the electricity in Sunrun's product came from the sun itself. So, unless the REMOVEDhas started charging for its own solar radiation, this sort of fee is very questionable.I'm very tired of the multiple calls to customer service. REMOVEDpanels as a service shouldn't be this exhausting. Sunrun likes to REMOVEDtheir customers in a way that makes me question their business practices. My experience with their hardware has been good, but their billing is shady.
