************************** continuously emails me regarding a ********** am not a ** and this is not my name) at some point in 2024 I reached out and asked for removal of my email. I cannot find the email now but they told me they removed it. I am still receiving emails as of the end of January 2025. This is extremely concerning and with the the other similar complaints I am seeing and the fact that this is related to doctors, healthcare, and privacy is terrifying. Not only should my email ACTUALLY be removed they need to change their practices because at this point they just sound like they are stealing our information. Please do better.

We are sorry we made a mistake and somehow linked this person's email to the profile for **************** profile.

We have removed the email ***************** from our system completely and passed this to any Vendors we work with to ensure none of them will ever send an email to this account again.

It was an honest mistake.  Clearly this person is not ****************.

    Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:this complaint has nothing to do with agreements with other agencies to feature physicians. Doximity sent Doximity messages to other Doximity users using the Doximity systems in a way that to the recipient appeared as if they were coming directly from me. In fact I only found out because a friend replied to the message (ie ME) confused about why she was getting a spam message from me that was unusually formal. This is unacceptable. Additionally, I have requested multiple times to receive a list of who received messages and this has not been provided. I have also requested this if my employer, but this is information Doximity should absolutely have as it was sent in their system. An email that looks like a spam message less than 24 hours (which by the way had no option to decline/refuse) is not adequate. This kind of unapproved communication can be damaging to my reputation in a small community where I know many of my peers personally. To do this Doximity should need my consent, not the consent of my employer. I did not see this type of consent in your terms of use. Impersonating a physician is illegal let alone unethical. Other social media resources do not just spam other users FROM their account. There is no reason for Doximity to believe they are above this and I suggest they consult with their lawyers regarding their terms of use and unethical (and possibly illegal) practices.

    Sincerely,
