1 starThis is not an honest platform. If someone gets a bad review, they can cancel your booking and so the review does not show up on their page. Very misleading!Peerspace

To clarify, our review system is designed to ensure that feedback reflects the full experience of a completed booking. Both users are asked to submit their reviews after the booking has been executed, and reviews are only published once both parties have submitted theirs. Since your booking was canceled on the same day it was scheduled, the review requirement was no longer applicable, as the booking was not completed.
We truly appreciate your understanding of our policy, which helps keep reviews relevant to the actual experience.

1 starI would never recommend this business to anyone I know personally because this business is a rip off. I reached to a Host for a venue I wanted to use to celebrate my husband's 75 birthday as well as our 34 anniversary. The place was perfect, and the price was even better. The advertisement of this venue was absolute. The surprise to me was that I was told that I could pay half of the amount of the booking which I paid $372 and agreed to pay the balance one week before the event is to take place. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the event and informed The Host as such only to find that getting half of my money back only meant if I paid the booking in its entirety which resulted in not only losing my deposit of $372.00 but also was charged for a cleaning fee and I hadn't even used the venue. So, I was refunded $30.00. Their policy with regards to receiving your refund should be a little clearer otherwise I wouldn't have paid for the venue because had I booked it and again had to cancel, I would lose half of my money. I inquired who gets this money and was informed that the Host gets it, so I actually paid her fee for booking rather than the use of the venue. I will NEVER use Peerspace again and I have definitely informed the many families and friends about Peerspace. No one has that kind of money to throw away especially to give to a Host who actually did nothing but book the venue.Peerspace

Upon review of your booking with ****** *., it appears the Standard 30-day cancellation policy applied, which is as follows:Guests may cancel up to 30 days before the event for a full refund (including all fees). Cancellations made between 30 and 7 days before the event receive a 50% refund (excluding fees). Cancellations less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable. Please note that the refund is calculated based on the total booking amount, not just what was already deposited.
You canceled your booking on August 15th, which was 16 days before the event, making you eligible for a 50% refund. As a result, the second scheduled payment of $305 was canceled, and you were refunded $30 for the portion of the cleaning fee that was collected with the first payment, as cleaning fees are always refunded when bookings are canceled.

1 starThis is a capitalist organization. Everytime we think we are reserving AVAILABLE spaces we get denied because someone else reserves the same space for more time. They should not have the space status as available if you are giving it to the highest bidder.Peerspace

1 starit was the worst services ever. i booked my 6h years old birthday party in a venue of peerspace, i live in the same building but residents are not allow to use this lounge unless you rent it (there is more amenities in the building that as resident I have the permission to use without renting but party will not be private) I decide to rent it to have a PRIVATE SPACE and everything was okay untill the day of the party, they sent me an incomplete access code, so i was unable to use that space and it was a sunday so it was impossible to get in touch with someone in Peerspace or my apartment complex team. because of that i move my party 25 minutes before my guest arrived from the 4th floor of building 3 to 1rst floor of building 1 i contacted the host on monday and explained to her the situation she offered me a $100 refund when i paid $434.00 she said that it wont be a full refund because i use their space, space that i have permission as a resident to use.i wont never use them again.Peerspace

1 starI will never use Peerspace again or recommend it to anyone. They're thieves and unprofessional. There is nobody to speak to, to resolve any issues. I booked an event for my company 2weeks prior to the event and was waiting for email from host regarding the space. No communication at all. The host accepted my request, which I never spoke to host to see if the space would be good. I've booked prior and have spoken to hosts prior to see the space size because pictures don't give the real view. But deposit was taken, and I canceled my event 48hrs prior and they stole my deposit. Stating the policy is 30 days cancel notification is full refund and 7 days for 50% refund. I was told it's up to the hosts discretion for my refund. Someone is not telling the truth because host states she never received my deposit of $226. So I paid for a service i never received and the information was not made-up front. Peerspace are thieves. 30 days and 7-day policy. So, what policy do you have for people that book after 7 days? You just steal their money and give no service? THIEVESPeerspace

When you created your booking, you opted for the split payment option, which allows you to pay part of the booking upfront and the remaining balance later. As with all confirmed bookings, a cancellation policy is attached, which outlines refund eligibility.
The policy for your booking was the Standard 30-Day Cancellation Policy. This policy states that guests can cancel up to 30 days before the event start time for a full refund (including all fees). If guests cancel between 30 and 7 days before the event, they receive a 50% refund (excluding fees).Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event start time are non-refundable.
Since you canceled just 2 days before the event, you were not eligible for a refund under the standard 30-day policy. However, your host kindly made an exception and approved a full refund, which we processed on October 27, 2023.

1 starSaturday, July 1, 2023 I booked a space for a birthday party using Peerspace from a host named ************** named The Meeting Point: ************ in the Burbs for *********************** Events in ********, ** for six hours ($65.00 per hours) totaling $670.07. I used the split pay 50% now, later option which I paid $376.77 plus processing fee upon booking. On July 12 I contacted ***** to cancel my event due to 90% of my guest who withdrawal their participation due to extended family emergency. ***** said she has a 90 cancelation policy which I agreed to that offers a 50% refund including $150.00 cleaning fee. I only received $75.00. When I contacted Peerspace they stated 90-Day Cancelation Policy I eligible to receive 50% of the booking total and because I used the spilt payment I was refunded for the cleaning fee $75.00. Peerspace should include in their policy that customers who select the 50% split payment will not will receive monies back for their 90-Day Cancelation Policy. Its confusing to new customers.Peerspace

5 starsI absolutely loved my experience with Peerspace! It was my 1st time using them and I will most definitely be using them again in the future. I am a content creator and online business owner. I scheduled a photo shoot and needed a place to conduct the shoot. My photographer mentioned Peerspace to me and couldn't have been happier. The house is beautiful. The host was awesome and had great communication and hospitality skills. He and his wife were on site but the home was so big, we did not notice them there. From other reviews, the hosts are not usually home during your reserved time. I've already got my eye on a few other spots I want to use in the future for branding shoots. It's like Airbnb but for entrepreneurs lol. Of course, you can rent out spaces for things like baby showers, etc. I love that you rent by the hour and not by the night (hence the difference from Airbnb). I would recommend always having an extra persona there with you for safety reasons.Peerspace
