    This is a terrible system, mostly because its absolutely impossible to receive support. Theres no phone number, and chatting with your Concierge is a joke. We had AMEX integration issues for almost 6 months, and they kept giving us the same set of instructions that wasnt working. After we finally got them on a call, they suddenly gave us a DIFFERENT set of instructionsand like magic the integration issues were resolved. Now, *** moved on from that employer (that used Expensify), and even though we tried to be very diligent in my offboarding process, apparently my phone number is still linked to something within Expensify. But heres the kicker: I had previously had MFA set up on my Expensify account, and when I departed my employer I removed the token from my Authenticator, considering that I no longer had need for it. Then, 2 weeks later I started getting texts from Expensify about expense reports. These texts have continued through today, and I have repeatedly told the Expensify team that I dont have the Authenticator token anymore. They have no solution. Im just going to get their stupid texts about an employer I no longer work at. Its ridiculous.

    Expensify should be shut down. There is no customer support other than a bot and them sending you articles that are unhelpful. No wonder it has a D- rating. They purposefully make it impossible to cancel the account and will then uncharge you without any notification.

    This company operates in violation of California's Automatic Renewal Law, that mandates that companies must offer service cancellation using the same method the service was contracted.This company follows fraudulent and ilegal business practices. While it's easy to sign up for their service, canceling it is virtually impossible: You get an error message every time you try to cancel it, telling youu to contact them instead. However, its impossible to contact them.And if you thought you could just remove your card from their account so they couldn't charge you anymore, I have news for you: This crooks don't allow you to do that either.Never doing business with these thieves again.

    We wrote to cancel our subscription in January of 2023. We were told too bad, and our subscription was due to be canceled in November of 2023. Due to some "error" on their side, it remained open even after multiple requests, and now in June 2024 we are still having issues. Please don't sign up for Expensify. They will not cancel your services and do not care about anything more than getting that next month's charge. They also have no customer service phone number, only an email that makes you repeat what the issue is over and over again without resolution.

    I have called or used the concierge chat 3 times now to cancel my account after unauthorized charges. Each time they find a way to charge me the next month, and don't refund the money after they say that they will.

    We had to close our Expensify verified bank account in May, due to fraud. Expensify was unable to verify our new bank account and refused to work with us or the bank to verify it. Instead of blocking our closed bank account so that no one could make a payment- they still enabled customers to make payments via their link. We have been trying to get refunds for, literally, 6 months now. We have reached out to "chat" numerous times. We keep getting the same non answers. Every. Single. Time. "Their team is working on it" "I will try and get you an update" " We are escalating the matter." No one will give us a number to call to actually speak with a live person. The ************ are chat or email. The chat bots are nice enough, but are not helpful in any way, whatsoever. Avoid this company, if you can.

    DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. They sign you up immediately for an annual subscription without being transparent about what the pricing is. They make it extremely difficult to close your account and refuse to help you do so. I spent multiple hours trying to close my account. They kept giving me the same instructions even though I was telling them my account was not showing me any of those options. They wouldnt listened and continued to refuse to help and continued giving the same information. I will never use them again. Concierge is completely unhelpful. They did not resolve my issue at any point and gave me no helpful information.

    I inadvertently closed the my account on iPhone app. Log in, again, looking for my 4-years of account of receipts and reports. They were not retrievable with 48 hour of closure.I tried the Concierge for first 24 hours until today. Expensify says, "Open, Unreported, and Processing reports are removed upon the closure of your account."There must be better way of alerting paying customer that you are about close your account, else, "all will be lost." Several layers maybe, at least three warnings with loud emphasis. I was confused between the new Expensify login with cell phone code and my old user and password login. Some how on my iPhone app I closed my account, thinking I was logging out of account, and lost my ******* to data. Very crushing after paying $5 a month for 4-years of loading data... very crushing.

    Predatory billing after cancellation. After using this product for 4 years paying $18 per month I cancelled on May 1st. By May 16th they had billed me for $72 and I still had to message them to get it cancelled. No refund on charges. Read the fine print

    Garbage. Outright garbage. The concierge is worthless. They won't pick up the phone, they won't call to help, and 9 times out of 10, they can't even understand the service request. The software platform implements changes that removes critical features without warning and the company overall is incredibly unhelpful. Literally NO solution is better than this one.Terrible customer service and a poorly functioning product.
