    I was also scammed by this company, It pops up on your phone after you order something and says they are sending you a free gift. Long story short, they add products to your cart and then also add a monthly subscription. when you try and remove items from the cart to edit them, it only lets you remove the free items and they charge 12 dollars shipping. When you find a number to call, they pretend they can't find your order. I'm so upset that I fell for this. Please shut this company down ASAP. They get zero stars for being so scrupulous. Of course, I can't put a zero so I have to put a 1.

Groves free gift sets for new customers do require a minimum purchase. This is outlined in the welcome offer on the website when it brings you through how Grove Collaborative works before you are able to browse the site. It looks like you disconnected the call before our *************************** was able to locate the charge you mentioned.     On August 28 of this year, I responded to a Meetup popup ad and ordered some Grove products. Unknown to me, I was setup for "product subscription" and "auto-ship" and another box was sent out on Sep. 28. When I contacted them to mention that I had not ordered this, they did email me a product return label. However, now I have to go through the effort of printing out a label shipping products back that I did not order. I then attempted to remove my credit card from my account but could not do so. I contacted customer service and they told me that I needed to have an open credit card on file in order to have an active account, and sent me a long stream of gobbledegook about how I could "delete my data" as if I had a ****** account or something. As if I want to go through that much trouble to "maintain" an account on what purports to be an online store. Then they warned me that if my account was deleted my sales history would be lost and I wouldn't be able to get a refund for my returned items. I told them to delete my account immediately.The "auto-ship" product subscription without my knowledge or consent, in addition to requiring an active credit card on file smells like "MLM"I'd bet that a lot of their "sales" originate from these sorts of tricks, and they are hoping that the customer won't notice or won't bother returning items. In the future, if I am trying out a new vendor, I will take the extra step to make sure my credit card is not saved on file.

As mentioned by our customer service department if you received a product that you didn't want or don't enjoy, simply contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll send you a return slip for any unwanted items. Once we're notified that your items are on their way back to our facility, we'll process your refund. In the future, you can customize the shipping frequency for each product in your subscriptions or remove them completely by clicking the "x" in the top right corner of the product photo.
