I am submitting a formal complaint against Glassdoor, Inc. concerning a defamatory review published on their platform that unlawfully includes my personal name and contains materially false and damaging statements. The review in question was posted on June 4, 2025, under the company Keep Your Seats Filled, falsely identifying me as a manager with the title The Boss ***** and including offensive language.I categorically deny the assertions made, as I have never held a managerial position at the referenced company nor supervised the individual who posted the review. This publication constitutes defamation per se under California law and violates Glassdoors own Terms of Use and community standards regarding the posting of identifiable personal information and defamatory content.Despite prior requests for removal, this review remains accessible, causing ongoing reputational harm, interference with my employment opportunities, and legal complications. Such conduct by Glassdoor in failing to promptly remove unlawful content after notice may expose the company to liability.I respectfully demand the immediate and permanent removal of this defamatory review and a written confirmation of the same. I also request assurances that Glassdoor will strengthen its content moderation to prevent further violations of my privacy and defamation rights.

I received an email from a "no reply" email address that my account had been flagged for an "abusive" comment I had made. The comment was included in the email, and was not abusive in any way. It did disagree with the comment it was replying to, and provide my qualifications for disagreeing. There was one word that I would characterize as semi-profane, but it was not specifically directed at the person who made the comment. For reference, the email on my account is The instructions in the email directed users to reply (to the "no reply" email) with questions or to dispute the claim, which I did. I asked specifically what about my comment was abusive. Unsurprisingly, my email to the "no reply" address bounced. I then went to the website and used the contact form to send the same information and question, but the form times out and doesn't submit. For a site that claims to be about free speech, Glassdoor is quick to censor anything anyone doesn't like, and doesn't seem to want anyone to be able to communicate with them. I'm not sure how they continue to operate.

Glassdoor claims to be a unbiased objective company but it has resulted that it sides with employers by removing negative reviews, in addition to that *** worked for a company and I left a one star review multiple times but Glassdoor never posted it or removed it. When I looked up the company I found out its a company that engaging with Glassdoor, so Glassdoor is taking payment from companies to falsify information or by lying to employees by refusing to post negative reviews.

Glassdoor is routinely REMOVING honest, negative reviews. It has been tested and confirmed that reviews are not even being reviewed but automatically removed immediately after posting. Negative reviews have also been removed in order to promote only positive reviews, artificially inflating companies ratings to hide negative opinions. I have multiple screen shots as proof of this shady behavior. DO BETTER, GLASSDOOR!!!!!

Hi. I received an email from Glassdoor on 12/20/24 that they moved a review I submitted years ago. I am not fighting the removal. However, Glassdoor now sends me daily emails about this removal. They aren't asking for help or more information. I have asked them to stop sending these daily emails multiple times now, but they will not stop. I just want help getting them to stop sending me daily emails. The help I am requesting from BBB is to facilitate additional communication with Glassdoor to stop daily emails. I would like for Glassdoor to communicate that will stop sending the emails and to follow through on that commitment. Please see the pictures attached as evidence of these emails, which contain the same content. I also included copies of the email exchange with them asking them to stop sending daily emails. Please check the dates of the emails on the top of the pictures.

Glassdoor describes itself as a platform that provides insights about jobs and companies by offering a collection of employee reviews, emphasizing the authenticity and transparency of its reviews. However, Glassdoor takes no accountability for providing accurate information in reviews and has not acted upon (even when contacted multiple times by my organization) requests to remove reviews that clearly violate Glassdoor's community guidelines. Examples include specific non-executive employees mentioned by name in reviews and misinformation that can be quickly disproved by facts (like false dates and job titles in reviews that can easily be refuted). At multiple times, Glassdoor has been contacted by my organization to review and remove posts that are in clear violation of Glassdoor's community guidelines but has chosen to not follow their own guidelines and take no action. This is all especially problematic because Glassdoor has made it required for users to make posts and enter information in order to access other reviews and posts on its website. This has resulted in the proliferation of posts that are blatantly false and out of agreement with Glassdoor's community guidelines, but Glassdoor again chooses to take no action.

We are having a hard time with the company called ************************** that allow for employees to review their workplace. We never signed up for this service. Many disgruntled and fired employees that were stealing from us went online to slander our business. We contacted glassdoor about this and they did not help us. In fact they do not have any customer phone number we can call to complain. We want to remove our business from glassdoor but cannot contact anyone to help us. Can you please help us to resolve the issue.

On Glassdoor's website, when they ask you to select race, their option for Latino is "Latinx". The latino community finds this term extremely offensive. It's no different than calling a black person the *** word. These companies need to be held accountable for this. It's blatant racism.

For many years our employees' names have been noted by reviewers inappropriately. Glassdoor refuses to remove those names/reviews and is in violation of CCPA as well as CPPA and DPA, and you are jeopardizing my employees right to privacy. The reviews were demeaning to individuals specifically, and reviewers revealed internal and confidential company processes. Glassdoor has been contacted numerous times during the years, but refuses to remove personal data. We've asked our company to be removed from their system, but they refuse that as well.

Glassdoor promotes their business as allowing employees to leave authentic reviews of employers only for those reviews, that do not go against their community standards, to be removed at either the will of an employer or the employer using incentives to have negative reviews removed. This directly contravenes their promoting of their website as not doing ********* is trust pilot reviews where you can see there is a clear history of employers having negative reviews of employees removed. ****************************************************************
