To whom it may concern,Creation ******************* was a movie collection hosted on the Internet Archive for nearly eight years. The Archive played a crucial role in building this collection, which required the creation of 50 movies. However, on 11-03-2023, the Internet Archive removed all of our films from their website without any legitimate reason, notice, or prior contact. They left us no option to appeal the decision. Their sole response was:It appears that the materials you have uploaded violate the Terms of Use: rights violations.Sorry but the account must remain permanently locked.************** are produced by taking public domain films and adding unique animations and colorizations to them. No one on Earth has taken this approach to public domain films before, and we understand that it has generated some controversy. We consider ourselves trailblazers in this field. We have discovered that by adding a unique artistic design to these films, the creator can establish a new copyright, which is recognized by the U.S. ***************** This process is open to anyone, and we have devoted many years to creating these movies.Creation ******************* quickly became some of the most viewed animations on the Archive and have even received awards at multiple film festivals. We have a deep understanding of copyright and trademark laws, and the Internet Archive should not be able to establish its own rules regarding copyright. Imagine having legitimate copyrights and not being able to sell or share them for free. This is a growing issue in America, where individuals with copyrights are being restricted from utilizing them on third-party websites. What we are doing with public domain movies aligns precisely with the purpose of both the Internet Archive and the Public Domain. This is a form of discrimination. We are simply revealing to everybody the actions of the Internet Archive.Sincerely,**************
