I had a horrible experience working with Evergreen Builders. The owner, *********************, is unprofessional, offensive, and dishonest. He was argumentative and demeaning in front of vendors on a miscommunication issue with the kitchen floor plan, which was embarrassing and humiliating. I walked out. I tried to move forward after the incident, but the owner continued to argue his position on the issue instead of focusing on a solution. No one should be treated this way by their contractor. After I let Evergreen go, I gave the company final payment for the blueprints. I asked Evergreen to use the deposit towards payment for the permit and told them to keep the remainder. Owner refused to give me the permit, saying that the deposit was non-refundable. Nowhere on the contract did it say the deposit was non-refundable. Till this day I have not received the final blueprints or the permit. He also had his assistant and the blueprint company harass me for payment mulitiple times.I just want to warn people about this company. Don't use them. The owner also has been banned from kitchen remodel show rooms because of his unprofessionalism. I had to give a star to leave a review but Evergreen deserves zero stars.
