    Cb2 sold a defective and dangerous bed that has broken three times now. The third time it broke in the exact same manner as the two times before I contacted customer service again and was denied any resolution. The bed legs anchored to the center support break out of that support and the bed collapses. Worthless furniture and terrible customer service.

    Their products look nice but are not built to last. We bought a white couch from CB2 a couple of years ago, and they clearly stuffed the couch with dark filler. Guess what! Even after getting the couch professionally cleaned, the couch is now a gross dark grey as the filler has made its way to the top. We've spent thousands of dollars here, and it's just not worth it. May as well buy from a more reputable brand. Ugh.

    I ordered an alpaca throw that qualified for waiver of the shipping costs of $24. When I went to return the item, I found the return cost was the $24+ $5 to receive the label. The return policy does say that the return shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer. It does not disclose any standard return fee, and does not mention the restocking fee. I inquired about mailing the item back via my own carrier without a label. That is allowed, but the same fee is deducted from the return refund. So I accepted the label and cost, and wrote a poor review. The review was directed because they claimed I mentioned a competitor (Crate and Barrel, the parent company) against policy. I altered the review to remove that reference. The revised review was rejected, so I drafted a 3rd review. It was rejected but I could not discover the draft or the reason. So I wrote a 4th. Also rejected. So I called to determine what I needed to do to get the review published other that write a good review. A nice gentleman tried to help me, but he shifted me to another office. This man did not know how I could have access to a draft of my review, offered for me to send him my review so he could forward it, but he said he didnt know how I should send it to him, then accused me of not being willing to allow him to help me. Theres a recording. It will show this is nonsense. In short, the only reviews CB2 accepts see, to be the ones they like!

    Misleading email with promotion codes. Email will take you directly to the items that are "eligible" for the promotion but when you add an item from that landing page directly from the email it states promo code not eligible. Spoke to customer service and they told me it was on the exclusion list. I asked where the exclusion list was on the webpage since normally website when they offer a coupon code let you know upfront was is excluded with a al list of items. The customer service agent conveniently said that it was an "internal" list that they had. Extremely misleading and terrible customer service.

    Horrible! They take your money for expensive furniture etc that is supposedly made in *****. Then they fail to fulfill your order beyond months when you order it. I ordered a dining table in May. It is October and there is no table in sight. But it gets better- because this is a custom item you cant get a refund or exchange it. What kind of ******** business does this to people.

    I purchased the green bowtie chair in store on 10/27/2022 (no online order) and the purchase wasn't processed properly (I am now finding out late April 2023). 3/5 wheels are bent and on their way to snapping off (known issue if you now see reviews for the item). Despite providing proof of CC charge they said that ** they can't find a record of my purchase in store, they can't ship me replacement wheels. They also mentioned that past 90d they don't offer replacements. Lastly, when I try to place a review about this item and their way of handling it, they block my review.

    Of all stores Ive worked with over the last year, CB2 and ************** (along with ************* have been the best at delivery, fast response and customer satisfaction. *** had horrific dealings with other companies in trying to furnish a new home, but feel confident to go back to CB2 and (their sister store) Crate and Barrel to finish the job.

    I have ordered on many occasions from CB2 and lately there has been a 50/50 chance of the products even arriving. And when they do, you're lucky if they aren't damaged in transit or of such poor quality that they either break or you're unhappy with them. I have received boxes that have been split open and re-taped shut by the shipping company. I've received expensive velvet curtains with actual spots of velvet missing. I have a nightstand with a drawer the must be yanked open with two hands and slammed shut to use. I have a mirror I've owned for only about a year that is already deteriorating on the edges, just to name a few examples. I recently sent back a package full of damaged items for a refund and it's been sitting at the local ***** location where I live for almost two weeks now and CB2 will not refund me. I have two packages that have been sitting in CA for five weeks and they won't refund me. I don't know what has happened to this company over the years but they have gone way downhill and it has become a quantity over quality operation. I have had more than one order go missing through the cheap *****Smart Post service they use to send the items, even though it costs on average about $50-100 for shipping for me on every order. In summary, this is a courtesy post for anyone considering purchasing something from this company, please avoid at all costs and look elsewhere for better quality products, as well as good customer service and shipping procedures. Also, please note that CB@ moderates the reviews on their website. I've left several reviews of products that they have either deleted or forced me to edit. For example, I tried to post a review on a coffee cup that smelled and tasted like chemicals so badly that I had to throw it away. I followed all the review guidelines but they won't publish it.
