I took out a loan with Stilt in which I still owe a balance. They told me that Launch servicing now has my account, but Launch says they cannot locate my account. I am unable to contact Stilt. STILT *** gave my information to another company. The company is trying to collect debt. I am aware that according to 15 USC 1681 states that they have to validate the debt right. I took two personal loans from Stilt and I was not able to repay due to COVID and it went to ************************************** and I made a settlement with them to close both the account after making payment as agreed. There are two issues.1) The account was settled and paid on 7/26/22. See the attached settlement letter and bank statement showing the payoff. My credit report shows it as charged off and fully unpaid with an outstanding balance. This should be updated to reflect it has been settled and closed with a zero balance.2) The ****-C I received (also attached) showed the entire balance plus additional interest as charged off (and therefore increasing my tax liability). This should only include the actual cancelled debt, less the settlement payment made and no interest.I have tried to reach out many times but the company appears to be out of business and the phone numbers do not work. I have also reached out to both ****** Services (who apparently took over the servicing of loans) and *********************** (who may have acquired them).Initial Complaint

I've had a Stilt loan ( 20210116CFVPMZAS28LS3 ) that I paid off back on 12/30/2021 but it still shows as open with balance of $2650. Stilt hasn't reported my loan closure to credit bureaus. I've contacted them multiple times in 2022 (attached screenshots) and they said it's going to reflect in my credit report in 30 days, but that never happened. The last payment they reported to the credit bureaus was on february 2022 (which is incorrect since I closed the loan in decemeber 2021). The company got acquired by *********************** since but they say they cannot help me with reporting the loan closure. I've filed a dispute with Experian since it's affecting my credit score but they came back saying the information is accurate and it will stay that way. I have included a loan statement from stilt showing all the payments made to Stilt and closing out the loan and also an email from stilt showing I made my final loan payment.Initial Complaint

I've had two Stilt loans- the first one was paid and shows as closed my credit report. On the second loan, I paid off the balance of $5,242.80 on 6/28/22 but it's still showing as an open account with a monthly payment of $509.89 which is affecting my credit/debt to income ratio. I contacted Experian to dispute this account as being open and they determine that it will stay that way. I am unable to access my Stilt account online- the website reroutes me to *****************.
